I asked you a simple question, and instead of answering it you posted some dictionary definitions, then started shouting "I won, I won" when I pointed out that both of those definitions mean the same thing. You are using purposeful obtuseness to hide your own ignorance. Good trolling.

 

I'm neither trolling or trying to declare an easy win (although let's face it, it was). I simply don't want to waste time trying to educate the uneducatable. In a discussion, there generally has to be a common meaning of words and definitions, usually via agreed on meanings. In this case, there isn't. In fact, you've taken two opposite meaning words to mean the same thing, and when that was pointed out, you got angry and have double downed on your incorrect knowledge.

So what should I do with that? Answer: nothing. There is no point in discussing this issue with you because we don't have a shared vocabulary and you are determined to stick with your own personal, made up definitions. I've already told you that I'm not a teacher, and don't really have the skills to teach a (presumed) adult simple word definitions when you reject the concept. All I can say is that you should just go back to your own personal ideology and your made up definitions and don't try to learn anything new that might not fit into your worldview. You apparently don't react well to that.

Because you think that the fraudulent, deceitful travesty of Obamacare was "virtually identical" with the 'plan' that RINO Romney rolled out in the liberal-infested State of Massachusetts?!

Obamacare, as actually practiced, has been nothing but a handout-welfare "subsidy" intended for a predictably, almost entirely Democrat 'customer-base' of those who were already on other welfare programs -- which is why they qualified for such large "subsidies" in the first place!

Sure, Alek -- since the 1960's they've been given MEDICAID! People who don't or won't pay for their own medical care can simply get on Medicaid, or, if they feel like it, just stumble into the nearest hospital emergency room. They will be treated and it won't cost them a penny!

There never was any rational need for Obamacare's "subsidies" -- except to cement people who have decided to become totally dependent on "free stuff" to the good old Democrat Party!

 

I'm not sure if it's been brought up, but Putnam himself has stated that his study has been somewhat taken out of context, and only looks at the negative, short-term effects of diversity, and ignore the positive long-term effects.

It's also worth noting that a study by Abascal and Baldassari used the same dataset, but controlled for racist distrust among the majority. They found that that inflated the distrust effect, and that it was minimized when racism was accounted for.

Just some food for thought.

We can maintain our culture by making sure we can a good public education system (it could be with vouchers). Immigrant parents can retain some of the "old ways" while their children are well equipped to fully particpate in the greater American society.

 

The overlap of the normal distribution of these charactertics in racial groups is so great it makes race problematic as a predictor between individuals in any of these areas. More reality.

 

The average IQs of different human populations are different, sometimes markedly so.

 

It seems at the bottom of all this is that it's about a population that has large numbers of another population transferred within it without their permission. Why would this even be done? Cheap labor? Social engineering? Not legitimate reasons.

Well...liberals tend to be fairly racist as well.

 

I taught high school kids and adults from diverse backgrounds and saw that people can and do get along. The way our society is, middle-income whites often live in mixed communities and know a lot more about how to get along than higher-income white folks who tend to live in semi-isolation.

Pretty funny how their claim that it is the perfect place to live also comes with the fact that it is 85% white.

I am all for diversity, but only in the way people look. If we want a successful country, we all have to be on the same page at least to the direct culture of America.

That USED to be, self sustaining, hard working and individual thinking; no matter what your color, religion, race or whatever else.

Now days, "diversity" is LITERALLY only some subgroup that includes your race or color and if you dare to actually think in a way other than far to the Left, you are considered racist.

It's funny how we have much less diversity overall now, since the only diversity we are looking for is in individuals appearance.

Yeah I was being rather tongue-in-cheek. I lived there for several years. Incredibly diverse, and rather stable.

Basically yeah, it was BS.

 

Not a single white-founded, white-majority country voted to be deluged.

 

Some demographics relate better than others.
