In fact, the earth has gotten vastly greener over the last 30 years due to it.

 

Slash and burn agriculture is reversing that trend.

 

That's why it's called the 3rd world.

 

The Sun is getting dimmer and the Earth is getting warmer. If not a greenhouse effect....then what?

 

The Sun getting dimmer is a result of people burning fossils fuels.

The Earth getting warmer is your religious belief.

The greenhouse effect is an effect you cannot describe or have any knowledge about.

 

So far we have gotten lucky but this could change at any moment and the solar output could increase again - and then where will out CO2 enhanced atmosphere leave us?

BTW interesting that the denialists believe NASA when it agrees with the denialists beliefs but otherwise often view them as demonic conspirators out to swindle humanity

I believe NASA when NASA has actual verifiable and observable facts. I doubt NASA when it's AGW pushers attempt to weave a story by manipulation of facts. As far as "getting lucky" I'd say we have been very lucky to live in one of earths brief warm periods and I truly hope we are not slipping into another cold era which is much more the norm for this planet. The sun activity or should I say lack thereof is not what I want to hear.

NASA is not an "AGW cult" and I'm appalled by how some people have twisted Christianity into an anti-science cult.

God created the Universe and everything in it including all natural laws. To study the Universe and those laws is to study the divine work of God. God gave us brains thereby separating us for animals. The expectation is that we'd use the God-given gifts wisely.

 

The climatology division created and staffed by Obama is indeed a cult. They live off the good name of NASA scientist and engineers that put a man on the moon but in reality they are an entirely different group of people and have nothing whatsoever to do with the real NASA.

Every division of NASA is overseen by scientists. NASA has built and launched satellites specifically to monitor and collect climate data. To claim NASA allows a "cult" to be within itself is to besmirch all of NASA.

I thought you guys believed that it was the sun causing global warming and now you admit the sun has actually been dimming? So what is causing so much warming that it is even over-powering the dimming of the sun? The only thing that has changed that much is the greenhouse effect which is an important part of the climate. I don't think solar dimming is a threat because it has dimmed only slightly and is within the normal range within the last 200 years.
