    A good answer to that is the flag burning case. Texas v. Johnson. The "conservatives," including Rehnquist and Scalia, voted in favor of the flag burner. Scalia said "I hate what he did, and If I were king .... But I'm not the king."

    Of course they rule according to their politics. If they ruled according to the Constitution the voting would always be 9 to 0.

    The democrats rule according to their feeling, they dont apply the Constitution.
