Never mind people trying to boss you around. It's good to try making them understand :oldman: but if they resist truth and knowledge then it is excellent revenge to stop trying to help them and let them continue being stupid.

Thank you, wise old man!! I will think it over. Maybe I misunderstood the guy right from the beginning.
At any rate, I'm going now into the garden and ........................................................... behead some flowers!

Thank you for pointing out some of the most blatant inconsistencies in the American pseudo-logic in Afghanistan. They tried the "Oh my God, WMD's by the thousands!" in Irak and they needed some other BS ploy for Afghanistan.

The former situation in Palestine under British rule was a paradise relative to what is happening to the citizens since the Nazi-Zionist began their treachery. But your logic falls flat on the subject. Oh, were you expressing sympathy for the Afghanis? Is that what it was?

Afghans seek clarity on Trump's talk of wiping country off "face of the earth"

KABUL -- The Afghan government asked for clarification on Tuesday after U.S. President Donald Trump said he could win the 18-year war in 10 days but that "Afghanistan would be wiped off the face of the earth."

Trump made the remarks Monday while meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, whose help he seeks in negotiating a peace deal with the Taliban that would also see U.S. forces withdraw from Afghanistan.

"I could win that war in a week. I just don't want to kill 10 million people,"

Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. "If I wanted to win that war, Afghanistan would be wiped off the face of the earth. It would be gone. It would be over, literally, in 10 days."

Luckily, Trump is just shooting his mouth off, I think. He is trying to scare the wits out of the Taliban fighters. Let's hope it will work and a decent deal can be agreed upon. After eighteen long years of war in their country the poor Afghani deserve peace to rebuild their lives and their communities.
Peace probably depends on what the Americans are going to demand. It will be most interesting to watch this unfold.
Does anyone of you think it possible Trump would use the atomic bomb? How else would he be able to wipe them off the face of the earth?

The people are far to sensitive to hear both sides of the story - and those that do take the time to find out the other side are far too few in number to make a difference.

Repeat a disingenuous, mis-representative and or just plain false narrative over and over and most of the people will believe start assuming that it is truth "Iran is the #1 state sponsor of terror".

We now live in an Orwellian propaganda state where doublespeak is the norm. The actors we call news anchors and commentators know that they are disingenuous clowns. These are not stupid people ... yet - they repeat the Establishment narrative - as if it is truth - knowing full well that they are violating every standard of journalism and committing all the sins ... logical fallacy, "the sin of omission" - and just basic failure to present both sides of the story.

How often when you post basic information about some issue - do the adherents have a denial/avoidance response of some kind - because the information conflicts with some "necessary illusion" or Establishment narrative du jour. In cult exit counseling lingo this is called a "thought stopping" technique. The adherent will engage in the most mind bending illogic and denial to avoid thinking the "bad thought".

One of the favorite avoidance techniques is - when all else fails - demonize the messenger. "Anti American - Anti Semite - Racist - pro Russian- Pro communism- Socialist" and so on.

Just like in the cults a "black vs white" "good vs evil" "God vs Devil" paradigm is created. Cult doctrine (establishment narrative) is "Good" - anything that conflicts with doctrine is "EVIL" - Under the influence of Satan - Russia - Commies.

It is actually quite impressive to be honest - very high level and sophisticated control methods.

Sensitive? I call it lazy. But isn't really their fault. They have been brain-washed. Well, it can't be called 'brainwash' because there were no ideas in their heads to purge because the propaganda starts at birth. And let's face it, the U.S. makes politics seem:

    A. extremely difficult to understand.
    B. and kindly simplified by the government into the most fundamental terms that follow their disinformative message, ie
    1. RIGHT or LEFT
    2. DEMOCRAT or REPUBLICAN
    3. WITH US or AGAINST US
    4. LOVE IT or LEAVE IT
    5. RIGHT-WING or LEFT-WING
    6. CONSERVATIVE or LIBERAL
    7. BLACK or WHITE
    8. and ultimately GOOD or BAD.

So there it is. Why delve into the labyrinth of knowledge and understanding when all they have to do is pick a side and make believe that the other side is ”BAD” and that it stands for a whole list of details that they don't even understand. This way Tommy Tucker can jump right into a political discussion and make believe he is actually contributing something in earnest, such as, ”I'm a this and you're a that!” and ”So typical of the x or the y!”

    1. Josef Göbbels might have been the first to use it? He certainly used it to effect.
Don't get me started. The innuendos and the ”Nine out of ten doctors prefer” and ”Everybody knows” crapola. "Even an idiot knows Saddam has WMD's”, was what Donald Rumsfeld said to Jascha Fischer when he was in Europe trying to drum up (unsuccessfully, for those who don't remember) support for a ”legal invasion” of Irak.
Classified information, for example? Or Colin Powell's, ”Trust me”?
Oh Lord, yes! Criticizing the Constitution by suggesting a new amendment or just considering the advantages of Socialism FOR THE SINCERE BENEFIT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. "You're an anti-American!"
    Yes.
Indeed, it is much more sophisticated than the old dusty & rusty Soviet propaganda.

Americans (as stated), and the enemies that we are fighting. We'll go with ALQ, Taliban, and MITT-ISIS rebel fighters and tribal factions engaging in arms against us.

Not sure why you mentioned Europeans and everyone else, I clearly stated Americans.

Are you too going to refuse to answer? Might as well not reply.

"Sensitive" meaning that the public would react badly and "wouldn't understand" if they were to know the truth - as in this is one of the lame excuses given for censorship, propaganda and false narrative. It is quite something that the propaganda is so pervasive that some feel the need to apologize for it.

Some of the sophisticated techniques are described in books like "Propaganda" - Edward Bernays. Today we call it "media relations" and there is tremendous money and resources expended in shaping the hearts and minds of the citizen - aka - mind control.

The intelligence agency Budget is 130 Billion if you include the 50 Billion "Dark Project" slush fund. That is "double" the entire federal spend of Mexico - a nation whose purchasing power is 11th in the world.

During Russiagate the Pundits stated that the citizen knowing "The Truth" about some candidate "Harmed" our electoral process. Classic mind bending doublespeak. The truth in this case was that Hillary meddled with the election process what her and the DNC did to Sanders.

The Establishment then uses Russiagate as an excuse to censor the internet. A created and "Trumped up" controversy - pardon the pun - which is then used to push through some Establishment agenda.

I mean seriously - what was this - some facebook ads - most of which (and I have not seen any that were outright lies) - told the Truth. For example one was a pic of Bernie Sanders with the caption "The Clinton Foundation is a Problem". It is a fact that Bernie said this numerous times.

The use of black vs white/God vs devil paradigm - as an effective mind control has been known by the "elite" - at least the religious elite - for a long time - particularly when used in conjunction with the "fear factor".

The founders knew well the age old tactic of using fear of an external threat to get the people to give up liberty. Ben Franklin - "Those who would give up essential Liberty to purchase temporary security deserve neither liberty nor security".

Stalin used this trick - fear of an external threat to take away liberty - "Security for the Motherland"
    Hitler the same "Fatherland Security"

Bush - lacking the creative ability to come up with a new name "Homeland security". He then made it our "Patriotic Duty" to give up essential liberty.

Instead of "Give me Liberty or give me Death" The "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave" has been transformed into a nation of those on their knees and hiding in corners - begging- to give up essential liberty due to fear. Fear of a risk of harm that is 400 times less than the risk of harm from "walking" - you heard correct. The risk of harm from getting hit by a meteor is double the risk of harm from being involved in a terrorist attack.

Its in plain sight if one knows what to look for - and the skill level is much higher than the old Soviet Propaganda days. In the Old days people often knew it was propaganda .. now the sheep are not nearly as aware and so the propaganda is far more effective.

    1. What false narrative did Goebbels repeat over and over to the Germans?

Well written. The last paragraph is particularly poignant and demonstrates what I suspected as far back as 1979. I was working for the RAF in West Germany at the time. I could see that the west was going to follow the path of the USSR and they would trade places with us by becoming more Democratic than we. Of course, I didn't think the Soviet Union would end, I just figured it would be reformed.

Stop being such a silly boy. It's not my issue to deal with and I have a sneaky suspicion that the answer won't provide you with any support for whatever point you might have been trying to make anyway.

Let me be frank with you. I honestly do not know why your question is so important but I can assume you believe it will help to make some point that you are dying to get at. So if the answer to your question is so important to your case why don't you say what it is and stop playing silly boy about if? But be warned ... it better be important to your point or be prepared to be ridiculed.

If you don't know why it's important, it's because you didn't read the initial post I responded to (which wasn't even to you lol).

And if it's that hard of a question to answer, yet you keep deflecting...it proves my point from the first post I made.

That's all true. But I saw that you asked Jazz a question that she couldn't possibly have answered because you were not clear. Jazz was right in asking for you to be more specific but you refused.

    1. I don't know if it is easy or difficult.
    2. I'm not deflecting because I have invested nada in your game.
    3. Therefore, nothing in his dialogue can prove any point you've ever made in your life-time.
