Please permit me to make an observation. Surely the transcript is the smoking gun. But it would still be hidden away in a code level classified server if not for the WB. There was an attempt to hide what was discussed on the call from all but a few people in the WH, the NSC, the State Dept., and the public. That attempt failed due to the patriotic act of the WB who saw it as his duty to report clear wrongdoing.
That's what a smart person would think, like the staffers who decided it was best to hide this phone call on a classified server. The president who considers himself above the rules however, does what he wants, then lies about it later. But you guys are trying to keep the focus solely on the phone call instead of all the events surrounding it. The phone call doesn't have the quid pro quo, just the remnants of it. So if the impeachment investigation had to be limited to just this phone call(which it isn't), than it might be unwarranted. But since it doesn't, since the whistleblower's role here was to call attention to the wrongdoing so greater investigating could take place, the impeachment investigation will include the communications and meetings that took place outside of the phone too. Your boy is dirty, stop trying to pretend he isn't and get on board with what the real question of this impeachment inquiry is. That being, was it okay for the president to involve foreign nations in our domestic election by asking them to investigate one of his political opponents. Clearly you think it was fine, just like you'll think it's fine when the Democrats do it in the future.
