This brainless “want-a-be” maggot generously gives the most vulnerable members of Australia a paltry $3 per week to cover the incompetent mistakes she and her clown Government have made. Now the “drop-kick has promised $300million tax payers dollars to support the Afghan Nation Security Force - Australians are now paying for the Afghan military.

What a bloody joke this country has become when a “hotdog” vendor has more economic sense then our countries leaders.

When are Australian politicians going to start funding and putting Australian tax dollars back into helping Australia and the Australian people before strangers. Do we all have to be driving down pot-hole dirt roads before we start standing up and doing something about the way these politicians are just handing over tax payers money like it was their own.

Are Australian streets paved with so much gold and our system so marvellous that we can keep affording to squander tax payers money like this?

Are you suggesting we cut and run? Or perhaps break our alliance with America and NATO?

It was the Coalition that committed us to these wars, but once we are committed we have a duty to the Afghan people that we're supposed to be helping to see that it wasn't a complete waste of time.

Is the $300 million going to help the Afghan civilians?

Or is it going to fund the Afghan National Security Force - Afghan’s Military?

The Afghan National Security Force is just another Taliban paid for by the Americans to get rid of the Russians?

You would have to be strung out on “crack” to think that the Afghan civilians will see 1cent of that $300 million.

Australia to break away from America's and the NATO's apron strings; they would first have to remove that BIG yellow strip from their belly.

So what you're saying is, you don't support the war in Afghanistan, fair enough, the Coalition shouldn't have committed us to it. The money to the Afghan Military is not supposed to go to the civilians, it's supposed to go... to the military. If you don't believe the Afghan military helps Afghan civilians, then you're fundamentally against the entire objective of the war, and it's no good blaming Gillard for that, it was the Coalition that committed us to this Middle Eastern folly.

What an absurd OP , imo .
Rightly or wrongly you are in a fixed position .
You have fixed costs /overheads .
You must pay the going rate .
If you don't like the deal , change it , by democratic process in the usual way .
But do not start crying like a baby over spilt milk .

Seems you need some British good advice and spunk -- though not literally .

I suppose by your reasoning the coalition IS still Governing the country. I think you will discover the troll queen and her bastard Government has the authority to CHANGE the position regarding the war if she has the intellect & backbone, but I don't think trolls have a brain nor a backbones do they?

How can you reasonably expect the coalition to change the situation when they have NO Governmental power or authority to change the situation, but you defend that slimy maggot Gillard and her bastard Government when they have the authority to change the situation.

You are a real sad story pal if you believe all this sh!t.

The aphgans see us as an invading force no different to the russians.

Why else would their trained police and military turn on our soldiers?

Wake up and take the blinkers of.

Australia and Australians would have to be the stupidest country and the stupidest people on the planet right now.

Australian politicians give them $100’s of million of Australian tax payer money, give away our technology and knowledge for free to these Afghans who couldn’t care less whether Australians lived or died.

The Australian tax payers are just paying for a new “Taliban” group in Afghanistan.

I’m fairly sure the Afghan Government could raise $300 million to train its own military, and the question is why this troll is squandering tax payer money on these people who have not contributed one cent to Australia nor Australians.

Its time we elected politicians who started to spend Australian tax payers money looking after Australia and Australians first.

Is this thread about sending more troops to Afghanistan? No it isn't, it's about what we do when we LEAVE.

    Some. Many. Most. Who knows.

    Some.

The situation over there is much more nuanced than what you suggest. It's a real mess over there, even without us. Maybe moreso without us. Pakistan is as bad as we and the USA is - worse even. And they will be there long after we leave.

Is there an alternate government that can fulfill your expectations, or are you just confirming your political leaning. Your argument is empty if you haven't got a solution or able to substantiate and appropriate political solution.
