It won't surprise me if Russia defeats Ukraine and may take a long time to do it. But it remains to be seen.

 

It is even worse. He had his hands zip tied behind his back, supposedly shot himself five times in the back of the head, then managed to throw himself into a river. Putin's killers don't even try to make their lies and/denials of assassinations believable any more.

 

It is possibly that in a very long war Russia might eventually wear Ukrain down. It would also destroy Russia to do it though. Both economically and demographically.

 

If this drags on until 2024, it will be interesting to see how that effects Russia's "elections" I say elections because...authoritarian regime and all.

The reason I know or at least one of them why Ukraine has the upper has upper hand, is that the United States is pouring in money for weapons for Ukraine and there is more of a debt. The USA will be in debt so far down that they won't be able to help Ukraine any longer and then Russia will have the upper hand and win. This war is far from over.
