Hmm. Perhaps that explains the lack of strict gun laws in the US; that, plus 2A protections. We have better legal protections all the way around when compared to Japan.
Japan is far from a Democracy, they are Socialist and still retain vestiges of Monarchial Government, a Parliament too.
Clearly the laws we currently have in the US are there because the people want them that way. I hope to change that
Good thing you can't change anything. - - - Updated - - - Communism has free Elections, does not make it Democratic.
This is because the side that wants more gun control can only justify said desire with fallacious appeals to emotion, ignorance and/or dishonesty.
Are you honestly suggesting that Japan is not a constitutional parlimentary democracy with a figure head monarch must like the UK? Really?
Leftists tend to confuse democratic republics with democracies. The American founders rejected pure democracy.
Does any nation on earth have walls around it? Walls would not reduce the availability of guns. - - - Updated - - - Democratic republics are not "democracies". Surely you know that.
True. Japan seems to have very few gun crimes.....why? - - - Updated - - - Actually they are a form of democracy.
In Illinois, 88.53% of murders are committed with guns In Indiana, 76.84% In Wisconsin, 71.43% The obvious question: If lax gun laws in neighboring states are the reason for the high number of gun-related murders in Chicago, why do they not lead to more gun-related murders in those states themselves?
Why do gun crimes surge in Japan under strict gun control? Google: Japan - the differences are not subtle..
Gun control schemes, including gun bans have zero impact on the availability of guns for anyone who wants them. Walls, like the oceans around Japan and Australia, could not reduce the availability of guns. - - - Updated - - - Your answers are invisible.
Indeed. Gun control isn't about crime, its about controlling the law abiding - the state cannot have a monopoly on force so long as the populace remains armed.
