How's this hypothetical: if there is a dangerous viral disease out and about, would you rather take a successful treatment for it if you become infected, or would you rather take an injection that causes blood clots?

A vaccine in 5 to 20 years wouldn't get the job done. All vaccines cause injuries and death. They aren't perfect. There is always risk. The question is what is worse, The question is how reasonable is the risk. For me it was reasonable. For my wife it was not. If we could just get government out of the way we could manage this virus pretty effectively.

 

So safety needs damned as long as you feel good.

If you actually cared about medical costs, you would instead be promoting eating a healthy and species-appropriate diet (meat and animal products) instead of a "balanced diet" or a "vegan diet". This would instantly remove a **** ton of our obesity and diabetes issues (or malnutrition issues in the case of vegans) which financially strain our healthcare system.

Why do folks who have been vaccinated still get covid and require isolation? Why are so many folks having adverse reactions to the vaccine and die from it? And since the failure for catching wuflu isn't death, what are you rambling on about. And explain why so many minorities are not getting the vaccine? Every one of the folks I know who are republicans have in fact been vaccinated. We seem to understand where the hold outs are. Explain that.

- the majority of those in ICUs with COVID failed to get vaccinated. Almost every single individual who dies of COVID was not vaccinated - like 99%.

- the number of adverse reactions to COVID vaccines is incredibly tiny - far too low to suggest not being vaccinated unless there is a specific medical reason pertaining to your own health condition.

- 1,700 people die of COVID each week right now. Essentially ALL of them were not vaccinated.

- the reasons that various sub populations are more or less frequently being vaccinated is not some trivial topic.

That wouldn’t be natural consequence so no I’m not. If the vaccine works so well the vaccinated shouldn’t be fearful of the unvaccinated.

 

The vaccines do not prevent everyone from getting COVID. They DO cause amazing decreases in severity and prevent people from dying.

Death is NOT the only side effect of COVID.

There are those who can't be vaccinated for reasons of their own health. If there are employees with that condition, then all those not vaccinated present a risk.

Having people get COVID is a cost to all of us in that we all pay for hospital time, ICU capacity, etc. through our insurance payments and .

Personally, I see it as disgusting that there are people who actually don't give a crap about the exposure to disease that our health care workers, coworkers and others face when people are so totally irresponsible that they refuse to take care of themselves by means so cheap and easy as masks and vaccinations.
