All through man's history, man has seeked out a god. And it will never change. Wars have been fought over religion, and still are. It will never change. The only 10 commandment atheists disagree with, is the one that says, "Thou shall not worship any other god's before me". What I'm getting at, is the power and message behind the words. If man is always going to have a God to worship, and no man can argue against the 10 commandments, accept the one being discussed. Then it's safe to say, that every man worshiping the same God, is in the best benefit of man. God knew this. Thus, "Thou shall not worship any other god's before me". When it comes to the other nine commandments, it's obvious what God is true. For if they were taught and followed at our best ability, life would be so much greater, and hold so much more meaning.
