Its about a trillion degrees here now. I feel like I am sitting in an oven turned to the max. I'm sure I will get a sunburn just sitting inside.
I know its the "Scotsman", but their "Haggishunt" shows a couple of live webcams of Glasgow. (and Edinburgh!) http://haggishunt.scotsman.com/
Well her it is 7:18 this evening and it is already 6 below zero. Wonder ow low it will be in the morning. Hope all of you have better weather.
Gorgeous weather over here. About 10°C or something, although they forecasted around 7°C. It's really warm weather for this time of year. The other day, I was bicycling home after a benefit and it was around 11°C at midnight!
Anyways, I hope it doesn't start raining 'cuz I still have to go to the fish shop to get some grey north sea shrimp soup for tonight and to the bakers to get some ciabatta's and a french bread (for the soup). I'm making an appetizer tonight: bruschetta's with tomatoes! And I need to iron the table cloth -- the challenge of a life time!
Currently 45F, supposed to get up to about 55 this afternoon, with rain tonight and back down to the mid-40's overnight. Christmas Day will be more of the same - low in the mid-40's, high in the mid 50's, and rainy. I hope Santa brings his poncho and some waterproof boots with him!
It was hot yesterday, it is hot today and it stormed early this morning. There is a cyclone which was apparently going to strike Darwin. Whether there is another one I do not know, but Melbourne has had hail the size of tennis balls and we are expecting more thunderstorms tonight.
52 and raining. Oh the weather outside is frightful, But the fire is so delightful. And since we've no place to go, Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain. On the negative side, rain just doesn't have the same wintery look as snow. On the positive side, I don't have to shovel rain off my driveway.
I saw a haggis, sitting on Santa's sleigh in Stonehaven. It's about 15c degrees here today and light rain on and off. Very pleasant for relaxing with the apres-diner eggnog.
