At some point.. you run out of labor when you keep taking more and more of the fruits.

Yes. This is called supply and demand. Everybody is mandated to operate within these principals, even the ultra wealthy. I'm not sure I get your point.

The EU is run by unelected officials who run it the same way the Soviet Union was.Brussels dictates individual countries what to do.Incidentally, all those liberal icons like Macron are far less popular than Trump in their own countries.

In the US, you do not have a Public Healthcare, which I do here in France. It costs me $20 to see a GP and in the US that same visit costs you $200! And surgery is astronomically costly, which has an influence on life-span.

Which means in the US your lifespan is 79 and mine in Europe is 83!

It cost me $950 to send my children to a post-secondary schooling here in France, whereas the average "state school" in the US costs $14K!

Far too many Americans have swallowed the Public Image of Donald Dork, which is why he curries such favor. Nearly 40% of Americans think he'll get reelected.

That percentage is mind-boggling. But, it is very likely due to the fact that most Americans confuse their thinking. That is, if times are good and they do not fear a lay-off from their job; so then the PotUS must be "doing a good job". Of course, the reverse is true also. Blaming someone/anyone for impending economic danger is a typical psychological reaction in many people.

The PotUS has in fact very little effect on the economy - as any economist will tell you about Aggregate Demand. Consumer Demand (aka Consumption), is economically a personal attribute. If consumers feel that the economy will retract, then they retract Demand, which simply worsens overall Demand.

The Economy is not the matter of one factor - the PotUS. Which far too many people think is true. They are deceiving only themselves and not any economist.

If anyone wants to see the real "economic driver", they need only look in the mirror. In the aggregate, WE consumers are the economic-drivers.

So let's stop blaming/praising the PotUS, shall we ... ?

My entire cost for insurance can not exceed $2,000 as that is the amount of my deductible. In fact, that is the deductible for my entire family of 4.

What you are doing is comparing non-typical US healthcare (people without insurance), to people in France with government insurance. That is dis-honest.

Further, French tax rates are out of this world. For my income bracket, I would pay 45% tax in Income Tax alone. 45%! You seem to ignore that the cost of your healthcare is largely rolled into those tax costs. Your GP visit isn't $20... when you consider the portion of your tax rate that funds the healthcare system.

Our lifespan has little to do with access to healthcare, and everything to do with unhealthy lifestyles.

No it doesn't. You are completely ignoring the ridiculously high taxes you pay for that privilege. Paying 40% taxes, and then claiming education costs only $950 a year is completely false.

What you have allowed, is for the government to tax the **** out of your labor, and then take care of you.

I would prefer to keep my income and better decide what and who to pay rather than be forced to pay for something I would otherwise elect not to.

Nearly everything in France costs more too. So not only is your government keeping more of the fruits of your labor, you get to pay far more than US citizens, for well... everything.
