    What sick world you live in. I'd like to see that kid kill 20 kids in minutes with out a semi-automatic rifle with 30-100 round mags. You would think your first reaction would be to prevent an incident like the one that just happened, but nope... you are more concerned with protecting your gun rights and ability to buy these killing machines. We live in a sick country! When 20 children get slaughtered and all you care about is yourself, we have problems.

    I've wanted one for a while, but I'm thinking of settling for a similar swedish handgun from the same era. Not as bad@ss, but still sweet, and a whole lot cheaper. One with all original markings usually asks for 600something.

    Haha, I'm assuming you actually know what it is and are making a joke. Yeah, it's had issues, but my interest in guns is more historical than survival.

    That werent nuthin! I bought her a .357 and for Christmas she got me a .454 (Ruger) and two loading presses.

    An AR-15 is simply the original name given by Colt to the M16. The M16 and AR-15 are essentially synonymous with one another. The only difference is that the M16 has an automatic function, which establishes the cyclical firing capability of 700 rounds per minute. The semi-automatic function, as you said, is actually much less, only around 45-60 rounds per minute, around 0.75-1 rounds per second. I am correct; I just simply left out the differentiation between the automatic and semi-automatic functions.

    It amazes me the lengths you will go to protect handguns, which kill tens of thousands more people than AR's.

    The Lugar was replaced because it had a tendency to jam and was too complicated. It was replaced by the P38, a much superior weapon. Even then, the Nazi's took over many gun manufacturers and one of the sexiest pistols during the war was this one complete with Nazi chickens. The Radom.

    ... you know, I gotta admit, that .454 is pretty badace, but in my book the Luger is still the king of guns, the most badace gun ever made, but that ruger gets up there. But as far as the .357, good gun for sure, but she's still kicking you @ss in presents :)

    I'm aware. P38 was also a lovely gun, but I'm not sure that I've ever heard of the Radom.
