I don't know what in the hell you are even talking about with your second point. Most of the rich get rich by selling goods and services. When their costs go up they pass those costs onto the little guy. It has nothing to do with Senators/Congressman.

What's inflation got to do with it? When the rich have to pay more for things they raise their prices to the little guy. That doesn't necessarily show up in general inflation figures, nor does it prove that the poor aren't paying for the rich's increased costs.

 

The rich would rather not pass their increased costs to the little guy. But, if they have increased costs they do.
