Based on history - practically none. The new Chicago mayor stated yesterday that millions had been poured in to solve the problem with no result. The city of Chicago government should declare an emergency and have the police do a coordinated sweep of the gang controlled area confiscating illegal weapons, looking for gang members in the US illegally, and seizing drugs. They know exactly where these guys are.

 

The problem is the cops round them up on a regular basis and the courts just let them loose, there are criminals in Chicago with multiple murder conviction's who are back on the streets simply because the courts will not hand down meaningful serious prison sentences.

This is one of the reasons the feds are getting involved as it moves the matter into the federal courts where these guys get life sentences.
