It is normal. Unlike religion, which requires the force of fear, feelings of attraction towards the same sex occur from within without coercion. Religion is a mental disability. God created the sun and the stars on day 4 and of course you would never question how there were days before the sun!

The sad thing is that children with religious parents know they can never talk about their feeling honestly out of fear of being sent off for the quackery knows as conversion therapy. Why would a parent want their child to grow up happy and self confident when they can keep them thinking they are an abomination to god, an embarrassment to their family, and that they are broken? (And don't forget, they should be stoned!)

You are driven to hate gays by JESUS' hatred of gays (that psycho will see that they get sent to hell, per 1 Cor. 6:9.) Jesus set a hateful precedent - he's a hateful role model for sure. Jesus just has you too SCARED ("hell" for non-believers) to confront his hatred of gays. Do the right thing - confront Jesus' hatred of gays - you are better than Jesus' hatred.

Sex is a private bodily function, and restricted to one's personal adult life/marriage etc. We don't talk to our kids about how they'll poop when they're 25, so why in hell are we talking to them about shagging? They need to know where babies come from, and that's about the limit of it.

Talking to them about relationships (the emotional content, etiquette, etc) is a different matter. We should be open to that, always.

There have been multiple cases of two male flamingos raising a chick together than they either "adopted" or stole from another pair's nest. Other primates engage in homosexual acts not infrequently, just read about bonobos for 10 minutes and you'll see. Question, how do you feel about masturbation? Is that ok or are you personally not ok with that?
