Yes the ****ing CAN refuse on any of those grounds.

All they can't do (if they value their business and/or hide) is tell the individual that that was why they were refused - which is a separate matter entirely, and nothing to do with the laws under discussion.

 

They are open BY INVITATION ONLY. That's how private property laws work. If the owner is happy to allow you access, then you will have access. You have no automatic right to enter private property, nor do you have a right to service just because you entered that property by invitation.

 

Try posting about gay conversion and see how fast you're 'not allowed', so yes.

They are NOT 'discriminating', they are denying service as per their right as a private enterprise. If their business suffers a downturn as a result, they have to live with the fact that their moral posturing was more important than making a dollar. OTOH, they might see an increase in business. It's a 50/50 proposition, in a situation like this one. Plenty of people will want to support them for their stand.

 

How are they 'bearing false witness' if they don't give a reason? They're not obliged to provide a reason, and no lies have been told.

Bull. Private enterprises can do whatever they hell they like, since they operate via PRIVATE PROPERTY.

They are not public enterprises - they are private enterprises open to the public upon invitation (whether that's a storefront door left open - or if by appointment as per a wedding venue). A public enterprise is a Govt organ - hospitals, schools, libraries, public swimming pools, civic offices, etc.

 

I have no interest in the inner workings of religionists - this is about private property laws.

Sorry a wedding is about the institution of marriage. It can be a Civil thing, but often it is a "religious. ceremony", If you want to marry a dog and a cat, I would say go to a pet store. You can't force someone to violate their religious convictions and that is exactly ALL you want to do. Don't tell me they can't find a "flaming Elvis" somewhere to marry them.

 

I don't think you begin to know what the Bible says about Marriage or Divorce. Don't think you even care. Do you even understand what an annulment is? I think you would just like to redefine marriage like so many words are being redefined these days.
