Trump is a successful businessman and I respect that, but as a political figure he's a buffoon. If by some freak of nature he wins the Republucan nomination two things will happen. First, Hillary Clinton will win in a landslide. Second, the Republican Party will completely crumble and need to be rebuilt from the ground up. Trump is in no way a person who should be a serious consideration for president of the United States.
Yes, but the point being is that people can learn from bad examples as well as good. For instance The Big Dawg could point out how he generally made forward legislative progress with the very same Legislative Branch that was gradually getting around to impeaching him. So forth and so on.
Yes, but as pointed out they can also be taught bad things as well. For instance, how to dodge the constitution to get things past, how to get into wars with very little information, etc. There are some presidents that are bad teachers.
The tinsel-bestrewn glitz n' glamour wing of the Republican Party is the manic side of its depressive governance manifestation. Few Angry White Guys are aroused by the party's actual politicians, but the show biz zanies have them all aflutter. Their flashy candidate-manque, Donald Trump, ventures where their other adored bombastic media personalities fear to tread in deep doo doo. The virtual politics wherein the implication of one's raves and rants go directly from a microphone into the ethereal abyss (Yes, that's where TPs imagine industrial greenhouse gases are all consigned) is a lucrative venue of irresponsibility. When you can be a highly-paid blowhard whose insubstantial puffery has no empirical consequences (vs Brownback's disastrous "experiment" in which he foolishly ventured to impose airy-fairy TP economic fantasy in Kansas - O Lordy!) you can keep the abject Angry White Guys wee wee'd up by lurid tall tales of ubiquitous "liberals!, liberals!, liberals!" free of the incumbrance and exigencies of actual governance. You are looking for your merriment in all the wrong places if you expect to be dazzled by the real GOP big shots (currently,17% approval/73% disapproval.) When you have the Queen of Tweets herself, Lady SaPa, gushing effusively over the Party's Human Hindenburg Whoopee Cushion, the Trump, detonating amidst the gaggle of presidential wishfuls, you know such frothy antics will ornament the humdrum. "A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants".. R.I.P. CHUCKLES THE CLOWN
So teach all of it; the good and the bad and the ugly. The point being to present the information to grown adults so that they can make up their own minds NOT push one viewpoint or one ideology over the other. The other point being that the United States treats the most important and complex job in existence as if the freaking janitor can pick it up in an On The Job type training process; and that's just stupid. Not, mind you, that I expect this stupid system to change.
You might ask the thousands of his supporters who lost their shirts on his 4 bankruptcies about his business acumen. And this was in the gambling "industry" the only one where people literally give you money for nothing.
Hardly. But 50 pretty girls are. They're the ones being punished. Trump will simply move on to bigger, better things.
This is going to be fun! With Lady SaPa having found her niche in the more lucrative media entertainment wing of the party, and Bats Bochmann having achieved a befitting obscurity, a wacko bird was desperately needed to add a modicum of tawdry glitz to the bland hoard. As the Trump does a cracking oral impersonation of his nomenclature's nether import, the suits appear desperate for a convenient dog to blame. Dondy has bough a seat at the table, and they'll all just have to hold their noses for quite some time.
Somebody needs to teach Trump some manners. To Trump, everybody is either "incompetent" or a "disaster", as if he hasn't gone into bankruptcy himself 4 times or been married 3 times. .
Donald Trump's chances of winning the nomination are even lower than Bobby Jindal's or Ben Carson's. Why? Because he made some ignorant, ugly comments about Hispanics. Doesn't he know Hispanics are a big voting block now? You can't insult people who vote in large numbers. But how could we expect Donald Trump to know that? He needs to use some of his money to buy himself a little common sense.
Agreed. Trump cannot and will not be bought, like a Bush, Christie, etc. Trump's pride would actually be good for the country as a candidate, because he won't weaken or sway, like Mitt did.
so hes to much of a Alpha male man to yah and not ,wishy washy like the political correct others, you so worship..
Actually all this fighting Univision, NBC, and who knows how many more is good for his presidential run. It brings attention to him at no cost to his campaign. His numbers are going up. Before all this hit the airways if you look at the polls, Trump was just getting 1, 2 and 4% of the vote. Now with what looks like the world is against Trump, his numbers has climbed in 11 and 12 in the last two polls taken. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep..._republican_presidential_nomination-3823.html In a field that include 15 or 16 people, that is quite a feat. I don't think he said anything that was untrue, but the political correct crown didn't like it. There is no toleration with that crowd. At one time a liberals mantra was, "I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend your right to say it." Not any more. All this brouhaha is the best thing that happened to Trump. The more this thing heats up, the more people he is attracting. Perhaps if this lasts long enough, he may even gain the silent majority crowd.
yeah hes now playing a good game of art of war beta role model, as the HUGE corporations attack little donald trump, all alone with no help from others david and Goliath. saga
It seems to be working. I wouldn't knock it. When he announced he was running for president, I just shrugged him off. Now I am having second thoughts. Trump is tied for 5th place and that is important when it comes to the debates in August. Trump has moved up to 3rd place in NH and in the last two polls is actually in 2nd. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...ire_republican_presidential_primary-3350.html In Iowa he has moved up there too, in the last poll he is tied for 2nd although he is 7th overall when RCP does their averaging. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...iowa_republican_presidential_caucus-3194.html Trump definitely deserves keeping an eye on.
