There are PLENTY of threads involving pedophilia where progressives could have made it very clear where they stand on the issue. The salon article I linked to is an example. The fact of the matter is they don't have as much of a problem with it as they do white supremacism.

 

That's a good point. The Japanese are certainly supremacists, and regard their own culture and race as superior. I don't however, regard it as "evil." Nor do I regard Black Supremacists as "evil" even though they probably don't wish me well.

So is ethnocentrism and racism evil in and of themselves, or only when it's practiced by Whites?

Also keep in mind that two of the biggest progressive movements of the last century made pedophilia a fetish to be catered to. It seems to be in line with the left's constant push to bring sexual norms to their extremes under the " if it feels good do it" motto.

Think about the " children's rights" positions and how they tie in together. They think children are capable of determining their own gender to the point where they can have surgery and take body destroying chemicals and hormones for life. They think children are mature enough to have abortions without their parents knowing. Do people who believe this really think a child is not mature enough to know who they want to have sex with ?
