I said nothing about interfering with trade but we do have a vested interest in seeing that no foreign military power gains a foothold in our sphere of influence. Don't like it? Well, we showed you ours, suit yourselves.

I doubt you will see Stalingrad offshore Venezuela any time soon. Of course you do have a carrier with four tug escort to get it where it's going.

Well I hope those aircraft carriers do better than our F 35 fighters. I mean they've cost us over a trillion dollars so far and enriched quite a few pockets. They say the fault for the loss of one in the Pacific might have been the oxygen tank. Then again, did China mess the electronics? One never knows.

I also hope they do better than the Helge Ingstad. It was Nato's pride and joy during its largest show of strength since the Cold War and cost Norway its yearly defense budget. Then it rammed a tanker. Did Russia do it? Well I wouldn't blame them if they did, no more than I would blame the US if Russia and China held war games in the Caribbean - even though I don't think we have the tech.

Helge Ingstad - Now you see it, now you don't.
