Trump did not do anything wrong and has no reason to be worried. He just asked for information regarding the Biden extortion scandal that is most likely tied to the Russian Hoax.

Trump was well within his rights to look into this corruption. It could be a matter of National Security if Joe Biden and others were taking money from foreign governments or extorting them them to commit illicit acts. Illicit acts against a 2106 Presidential candidate named Donald J. Trump.

Joe Biden is in serious trouble. Not to mention the tax evasion and Hunter, the coke snorting, son.

Joe Biden Repeatedly Asked Federal Agencies To Do What His Son’s Lobbying Clients Wanted

When do 'coincidences' become sheer corruption?

While serving as senator of Delaware, Joe Biden reached out discreetly to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to discuss matters his son Hunter Biden’s firm was then lobbying for, according to government records Goodman gathered.

As presidential candidate, Joe Biden waves off accusations of “bad optics” related to his son’s business dealings. Yet it’s worth asking, when do the coincidences become simply untenable? There’s an undeniable, repeated, and unseemly parallel between Joe Biden’s political activity and Hunter Biden’s business interest.

When Joe was running our Ukraine policy, Hunter landed at Burisma. When Joe was the linchpin of our China policy, Hunter was busy shoring up investors in Beijing. At its best, the relationship between Joe Biden and his son represents simply the worst of crony capitalism. At its worst, it’s good, ol’ fashioned corruption. Neither seems particularly desirable, and both indicate bad character.....snip~

Biden isn't the only one that's got trouble.

Ukrainian Gas Company Hunter Biden Worked For Pressed Obama Admin to Drop Corruption

A new report by award winning journalist John Solomon claims Burisma pressured the Obama administration to fire the prosecutor who was charged with investigating the company for corruption.

Freedom of Information Request Act (FOIA) documents show one of Burisma's U.S. representatives wanted to meet with Undersecretary of State Catherine Novelli in February 2016 to discuss getting the corruption allegations against the company dropped. Three weeks before that meeting, Ukrainian officials raided home of Burisma's owner, the very guy who employed Hunter Biden.

The representative used Hunter Biden as a reason the State Department should have a vested interest in sweeping things under the rug, as evidenced by a February 24, 2016 email between State employees:

"Tramontano and another Blue Star official, Sally Painter, both alumni of Bill Clinton’s administration, worked with New York-based criminal defense attorney John Buretta to settle the Ukraine cases in late 2016 and 2017," Solomon wrote.

Heinz's spokesperson told The Washington Post he ended his business relationship with Biden and Archer over Burisma and "the lack of judgement" over the situation.....snip~

Then get a domestic agency to file an indictment. You even have Joe Biden agreeing with you that he committed extortion after all.

    Sure thing fella.

Meanwhile, the impeachment inquiry continues. Do you think Trump will be impeached before Christmas?

Problems abound: Hunter wasn't on the board during the time period of the corruption in the company. Biden was pushing to remove the prosecutor for NOT investigating the company.

Also QPQ is fine in international agreements between countries regarding deals over such affairs. Not to help bolster the POTUS's campaign for reelection.

He openly admitted it on tape. Do you think Biden should be investigated and charged for extorting a foreign nation?

If you think he confessed to a crime on tape two years ago, then you should be easily able to convince Trump to get a domestic investigative agency to file an indictment. Good luck.

In the most likely case scenario for the GOP, you will be voting for impeached Presidentand every Republican in the Senate and House will have to defend that record as well.

    That's fun.

You mean during the first investigation.

After he was hired, they lobbied John Kerry's office, and a month later, Joe Biden goes to Ukraine to stop the investigation.

You're not up on the new information.

It also didn't stop at the Biden's.

Either that or he just pressured Ukraine to investigate corruption that circumstantially involved Joe Biden, and Trump's domestic political opponents spun a false narrative about it to deflect attention from the fact that they committed actual crimes when they used foreign intelligence assets in a failed attempt to win the election for Hillary Clinton.

What says the purpose was to bolster the President's reelection? We have long standing charges of corruption and knowing this we have the son of a highly placed individual in American government that gets a pretty nice little gig there. Why would there not be reason for someone to do some investigating? Pretend it was Hunter Trump involved?

As an initial matter, you are not presenting any reason why my description is invalid (outside of suggesting that I just bought into a false narrative) and you appear to be suggesting that my description is viable. So would further investigation be warranted if that is true?

In response to your theory, a couple of problems exist in my mind. First, Trump never bothers to mention even the word "corruption" in that phone call or the multiple meetings with the Ukrainian President which took place before that phone call became public. The obsession with rooting out corruption really only emerges as a talking point after the impeachment inquiry started in earnest.

Second, if you look at the multiple instances where Trump was placing pressure - either directly or through the shadow diplomatic campaign - the specific demands were a request to investigate the 2016 election, Burisma Oil (Hunter Biden), and Joe Biden. Those are all efforts to investigate his domestic political opponents, even the 2016 election because he is seeking evidence that it was not Russia who interfered in the election, but Ukraine interfering with Hillary Clinton (or however the conspiracy theory is supposed to work). At the time of his phone call, we know that two of Giuliani's associates were actually performing illegal acts in Ukraine and the United States, but those names never appear. It strains rational thought to believe that Trump only cared about corruption and it just so happened to focus solely and specifically on Trump's domestic political opponents.

There were multiple sets of people doing investigations. All found zero evidence of wrongdoing, including the Ukrainian Prosecutor who announced such in May of this year.

As for what says the purpose was to bolster the President's re-election - consider that all three requested targets of the investigation benefit Trump's election campaign directly: The interference in the 2016 election, Burisma Oil, and Joe Biden. The later two should be fairly obvious how an investigation into either would be used as a political talking point, especially in light of the fact that Biden was, and is, a frontrunner for the DNC nomination. The investigation into the 2016 election is a bit more circuitous, but still fairly obvious given that Trump has been pushing the theory of the "Russian hoax" and that the "real" interference in the 2016 election was from Ukraine to help Hillary Clinton.

Trump is the real whistleblower because he is secretly working for Progressives to get Joe Biden out of the race.

    Got it.

Biden is not going to be the candidate and Trump has nothing to do with that.

Burisma is corrupt so the Obama admin wants them investigated and meantime Hunter Biden gets a sweet job with them. Now Joe is sent to have the do nothing investigator fired and he is. Burisma is cleared. Is that about it?

    One thing at a time.

Biden is a frontrunner, yes? Biden is one of, if not the, most competitive in head to head polling against Trump, yes?
