I'm not denying some folks thought the heat might have an impact on it....nor that I like the President hoped those experts were right.

But Trump never said it would definately go away, he merely repeated why many experts on viruses were saying and hoping for it.

Yes they were....it's common belief and understanding that virus have a hard time in warmer weather. I am not sure if anyone thought that, but certainly were hoping for it.
