Is not a snapshot, it is a long term trend which is accelerating.

What were the "careful withdrawal plans" of the Trump Agreement?

Wait you want to go on record saying Trump never got any of our hostages back? I'll give you moment to ponder that. And then I will call you on your talking out both sides of you mouth. You say you wanted to get out and you supported us getting out then say you oppose the measures that did so. It was a PRISONER OF WAR swap. That's what happens when you withdraw your army and want to stop fighting. So if you are complaining about it stop claiming you supported getting out.

That they would cut all ties with al Qaeda and and ISIS, that they would not advance on any new territory, that they would meet with and negotiate a political peace with the Afghan government just to name a couple. Failure to do so and the agreement was off and they would be killed again.

I don't think the Afghan government-Taliban negotiations ever occurred. Did that negate the Agreement? And, I believe the Pakistani release of the current Taliban leader was a Taliban demand we agreed to, as well as the release of 5,000 Taliban prisoners, in exchange for 1,000 Afghan army prisoners. And, the Trump-Taliban Agreement was in two phases...the last phase (to end May 1st) consisted of the final 2,500 U.S. forces withdrawal and remaining air base closures. Why give away so much BEFORE the Afghan Government-Taliban negotiations?

Trump never got our people out, thus Biden having to do it now, Trump did give the Taliban their 5000 fighters though
