Trump Aides, Seeking Leverage, Investigate Mueller’s Investigators

Anyone who has a conflict of interest should recuse themselves, just like the AG did. If they don't do so voluntarily, then they should be called out on it.

That said, once Mueller expanded this beyond investigating the 2016 election, it became clear to me that he had turned his investigation of the 2016 election into an opposition research operation for the democrats in 2020.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Mueller met with some Russians and turned up some tasty dirt on Trump, that the democrats then used against him in 2020? In essence doing exactly what they are accusing Junior of having done.

This is just a gaggle of democrat operatives gathering opposition research to use against Trump in 2020. That is all this is about.

 

If you oppose Russian meddling, you would support this investigation. You now claim you oppose their meddling on the same board where you piss and moan about them investigating it. Make up your ****ing mind so you don't look so absurd with every post you make.

 

They ought to be investigating why Preet Bharara was dismissed and then the Prevezon laundering suit was settled for 2.5% of the total amount of laundered moneys days before a trial was set to begin.

What could have come out in this trial? And then you have a Russian meeting with Jr. in 2016, who just so happens to have direct ties to Prevezon.

I have no issue with the idea of an investigation on the topic. i have an issue with an open ended witch hunt staffed with a DNC dream team.

 

Trump himself was angry that Sessions recused himself. Clearly anyone with conflicts of interest ought not recuse themselves for fear of twitter outrage from the POSOTUS.

It isn't a witch hunt to investigate Russian interference in US elections. Do any of you Trump lovers have even the slightest clue what this investigation is about? The answer is "no". My teenagers know more than you all do.

 

Well no. If Trump has significant business ties to Russia that would explain his rather bizarre Putin butt kissing as well as why Russia clearly attempted to influence the election. Not to mention demonstrating one more Trump lie. There is obviously a reason Trump is so scared of the investigation and we will eventually find out the basis for that fear.

And of course the findings of the Trump witch hunt will probably be that someone investigating for Mueller or even Mueller himself donated to a Drmocratic candidate which will supposedly make them too biased to do the job. Then of course the response should be that Trump donated to Democrats and even Hillary in the past so he is clearly too biased to be President.

 

Yes and the result of that recussal was Comey "leaking" a memo to get Mueller as SC to begin with. As this "investigation" gets wider and wider and seem never ending we have an AG in name only

What is the conflict of interest? They are investigating Russian interference in our elections. Something CIA Director Mike Pompeo said yesterday went on for years and years.

The hypocrisy is the investigation of Trump at the taxpayer's expense, due to political witchhunt without as much as a shred of evidence of any criminal wrongdoing and resorting to fishing once no dirt is found.

Regardless, Trump has every right to investigate them at his expense, this IS NOT preventing them from doing their jobs whatsoever and if they're squeaky clean, have no biases and no conflicts of interests, they should have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Investigating Trump without a shred of evidence at taxpayer's expense and fishing expedition is OK, but checking investigators for biases and conflicts of interests on Trump's own dime isn't?
