I think a lot of people would join you in your viewpoint but I don't think its being realistic in the slightest; there are so many issues that American has to deal with and they won't go away just because some people have cash in the bank and are feeling secure. If the problems aren't dealt with they will continue to fester and grow over time. And I believe they can grow pretty fast over the next 18 months.

Imagine Trump's approval rating if he wasn't smeared, attacked, insulted, etc, 24/7 by the Left-wing Legacy media.

I agree with you. If any of these issues finally reach their tipping point and play a role in the election, like immigration or trade deals, Trump will pay for the sins of several past administrations. Immigration and N. Korea specifically are serious issues that have been kicked down the road for decades. With those 2 issues, and others, we should all be applauding Trump for addressing them, even if you hate his stance and/or the way hes going about addressing them.

HEH: The Democrats’ ‘Ultimate Nightmare Scenario’: Trump Loses By 5 Million Votes…. And Still Wins Re-Election.

Actually, I think their ultimate nightmare is where Trump wins the popular vote, but would lose the Electoral College . . . except for that dumb National Popular Vote Compact that delivers the electoral votes of states like Colorado to him anyway.

Then they would sue, claiming that the NPV pact was unconstitutional.

Yes. Good economic news is awkward for Democratic candidates.

With the U.S. economy producing another strong jobs report for June, Democrat presidential hopefuls face a difficult task: how to avoid crediting President Donald Trump.

For months, when faced with positive economic news, Democrats have tended to say either that Trump was lucky to inherit a recovering economy from the Obama administration or that the economy was only benefiting the rich. But with Joe Biden, Barack Obama’s vice president, in the race, crediting the Obama administration is losing its appeal for his rivals.

While Biden is happy to tout the economic blessings from “the Obama-Biden administration,” many of his opponents have no alternative but to double down on waging class warfare. For working-class Americans who are seeing their wages increase, financial security rising and plenty of jobs available for just about anybody who wants one, the message from these Democratic presidential hopefuls is simple: You’re wrong.

    They will believe their paychecks.

The first Democrat presidential debate started with a moderator asking Sen. Elizabeth Pocahontas, D-Mass., whether her various big-government economic proposals would create economic risks “at a time when 71 percent of Americans say the economy is doing well.” Warren responded, “Who is this economy really working for? It’s doing great for a thinner and thinner slice at the top.”

Only progressive math could turn 71 percent into “a thinner and thinner slice at the top.” This remarkable percentage came from a March CNN poll that recorded an 18-year high in the percentage of Americans giving the economy positive marks. The “thinner and thinner slice” in the poll was the 27 percent of Americans who gave the economy negative marks - the lowest number since February 2001.

The CNN poll reflects more than public opinion, it reflects reality. In June, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a historic high of 157 million people were employed and fewer than 6 million people were unemployed (a recent low last seen nearly 18 years ago, when the labor force had 20 million fewer people). The result was an unemployment rate of 4 percent or less for 16 consecutive months, a streak last matched nearly 50 years ago.

Every economic trend has been on the same unchanging upward trend since 2010

I'd be just as happy if Trump lost in a landslide; 3 months later he's led away in handcuffs to be prosecuted for the various laws he broke before and while in office. I think that sounds pretty reasonable, don' you? :)

Exactly, most folks know that they are nothing more than Leftwing propagandists.

The demand for workers remains at historic highs, with 1.4 million more job openings than people unemployed in May (the 15th straight month with job openings exceeding unemployed).

The demand for workers is driving wages at rates last seen in 2009. According to the BLS, wages for all nonfarm employees rose 3.1 percent in June, compared with June a year ago. Wages for production and nonsupervisory employees (workers, in other words) increased 3.4 percent. Workers who were employed 40 hours per week saw their incomes increase an average of $1,500 over the past year.

Those production and nonsupervisory employees make up 80 percent of the workforce, which means that year-over-year wages for higher-compensated supervisory employees - the remaining 20 percent - increased at a far slower 1.9 percent.

When was the last time we saw Blue Collar wages rising faster than White Collar wages in this country? Trump. He fights for the American Worker.

Well, once again, this is what happens when you let trashy blogs do your thinking and cartoons to do your speaking.

Once again, you failed to look behind the curtain, and instead, just parroted the headline.

This is a Survey/Monkey poll. It is NOT scientific and has little real statistical validity.

It’s even more dishonest that the totally laughable Rasmussen polls.

    I doubt it.

There are enough decent people in this country that see what Trump is doing for what it is.

If I turn out to be wrong about that, this will be the end of the American Century and of the US as leader of the free world.

Donald Trump may succeed at making America afraid and weak, retreating and trembling behind walls.

    Or not.

The only thing that matters is how that 5% of Independent Voters feel on Election Day. Polling Republicans and Democrats is pretty useless. As is predicting a win based on a poll so far out from the election.
