I am not certain if they are worse, but It seems that they are more frequent. . .and not always with due process!
I think public executions are worse because they reminds us of the bloodthirst that lurks in the dark souls of many humans. There is also the fact that what may warrant a death sentence in some countries does not really warrant a death sentence at all anywhere else...or for that matter might not even be a real crime at all.
I never mentioned anything about lawyers. I mentioned why I think public executions are barbaric and that there are crimes that would not warrant death sentences in most other places and some that are not even crimes at all.
