Why do you think it is "fake", and why is lack of cross-examination a problem to you? Cross-examination is for court trials.

 

Start here:

1. Release all the images of rioters pulling bicycle racks away from the police with name tags over each face revealing their identity.

That should have been done within the first week.

 

How could you conceive of anyone trusting the outcome of hearing that doesn't question the validity of testimony and allows hearsay testimony as evidence?
What If Trump held a committee hearing and only invited people who would testify on his behalf?
And when you heard someone claim something you know isn't true, then read it in the media, what would be your reaction?

This isn't a committee hearing. Its a leftist pep rally. Once they allowed Hutchinson to provide her hearsay testimony, then the Secret service says it isn't true and ask to testify under oath, but the committee members don't allow them to testify, nothing else coming out of the hearings will be listened too by most.

Any hearing without cross examination which allows hearsay testimony, loses any credibility they might have provided.
If you have a hearing without credibility, all you have done is distance yourself from reasonable people.

You don't seem to understand what the Committee is doing. "Trusting the outcome" is of no effect on anyone but you don't understand why it seems.

If Trump held a committee hearing and invited only Democrats according to a rational plan and system, I can't imagine having a problem with it. The Jan 6 Committee is not "only inviting people who would testify on behalf" of Democrats. EVERY PERSON WHO TESTIFIED was from Trump's hand-picked trusted aides, allies, attorneys, and others from Trump's "team". Can you name one who doesn't fit that description?

I guess I'd say "typical bullshit". But I wouldn't consider it of any significance because of what this committee is doing and what its goal is.

This hearing is a committee inquiry. It's not a court trial and there will be no "convictions" coming out of it. Again, you don't seem to know what it's about!

Odd given how ineffective political show trials have been since Joe McCarthy. They empower opposition. Which is probably why Trump never considered holding Fake Show Trials to persecute his opposition -- too stupid -- too ineffective.
