How do you suppose a President, with the leanings of Trump, could get his word out daily, without the twists and slants of a left wing media? You know they do it daily. The media presents his message in a way that conforms to their agenda. Please don't ask me to give examples because they're all over the place. Trump has found a way to present things on his mind around the biased media. His rally's help with that but Twitter is invaluable. No Republican ever figured out how to do that.....until Trump!

Yes, AGs are subordinates of the Presidents who appoint them. They are not independent.

"Holder, who's been held in contempt the House of Representatives and has been the focus of numerous Republican-led Congressional investigations, also joked that his childhood in New York left him well prepared for the slings and arrows of Washington.

"It’s tough, but when you understand what the stakes are, and what the opportunity is that we have, I can deal with all the nonsense," Holder said in the interview. "I can deal with whatever they throw at me. I grew up tough in New York City, you know, so if this is the best they’ve got in Washington, I’m ready for it.""

    excellent point and I agree.

what I would say is that he can say what he needs to say without the troll-like words and attitudes.

same thing that we as posters (try) to do when we want to make a point without provoking.

and yes' I understand that even if he said something thoughtful and clear that the haters will still attack' but then at least they are the bad guys vs both sides.

there is no perfect answer. I'm just being honest about my primary criticism of him as a potus. and that is that he hits send before someone double checks it: as joe the plumber that's fine' as potus that's terrible.

Barr told the truth. Presidential tweets can get in the way of Barr doing his job.

If that ruffles feathers, so be it.

I do believe he should be especially sensitive to tweeting when realizing Barr is working on something that doesn't need provocation.
