Trump berates CNN reporter: 'You are fake news'

Butt hurt is the guy up there whining and demonizing the press. You folks would have gone ape(*)(*)(*)(*) if obama did something like that. But he's got too much class. This behavior is "unpresidented".

I was responding to someone who was using Obama to deflect from Trump- I agree that Obama doesn't matter anymore, and in fact said so a few quotes back. I am glad you agree with me that he's not relevant to this discussion.

American press is too nice, if trump ever treated the Canadian press like this he would get obliterated. especially the French press. They take no prisoners. They will seek revenge until they get it and when they do get it it's usually something that makes the politician resign.

The way he delivered the line "You ARE fake news" was delivered so beautifully as to be epic. I've never seen someone torn down so beautifully in my life. You can bet that scrub reporter won't be back.

 

I'd let him/her ask the question- If they want to waste their time with such tripe I would imagine they wouldn't keep there job for long. Don't you believe that capitalism would take care of that problem in time for my next press conference?

"Odd. I managed to read the note that the information was unsubstantiated." You do realize that the media is not supposed to report anything that is "unsubstantiated"? There are supposed to be three independent sources for anything published. CNN threw that industry standard completely out the window, and published a group of fake documents that they have had over a year. Yet, none of them could be substantiated. Here is the kicker, Mother Jones has called CNN down on this one.

The fact that CNN and Buzzfeed published these documents knowing that they could not be verified is bad. The fact that they did this the day before a press conference is inexcusable. If I was Trump, I would exclude CNN from all Press Conferences, and revoke their press credentials. They would only be allowed back when CNN has fired everyone responsible for this release, and after a Televised formal apology to the President and the American People from the CEO of CNN.

I have also sent an email to CNN stating that I was blocking both their channels on my TV.

 

No, he avoided taking a question which he knew was going to be uncomfortable. That's the way of a coward.

 

Trump thanked all members of the press for their professionalism in not reporting on a unsubstantiated story. Then he laid into CNN and ignored their reporter due to that new outets lack of integrity. I think Trump exhibited a needed standard of ethics. If you don't like it, it's because you lack same.
