    Look up Tulip Mania and look up South Sea Bubble, and in case you missed it look up the book Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds by Charles Mackay. Truly fascinating reading.

    Sometime soon the market will be 'Down" , that is, all the stocks will be selling for a LOT less than they had been, by a very substantial amount for a very long time, at least if what they've always said about Price/Earnings ratios has any validity

    Yes, it is Obama's economy, and Trump has taken credit for it, and now Trump has ****ed it up. So he is blaming the media.

    As I said. Goebbels would probably **** himself with delight if he could watch the Trumpers

    When the media is running around yelling "The sky if falling" to create panic, should the media be blamed? Or shall we hang that on Chicken Little being taken seriously by blathering bobble heads who are struggling to get enough ratings to survive?

    If the economy tanks, 3 years in, all of a sudden Trumpers are on board with the idea that it was Obama's economy.

    There you have it folks- anything not coming from the sponsors of Chicken Little is hysteria. Things like the world ending in 12 years. I remember Y2K (the year 2000) when the predicted crisis was going to take out all the electrical systems, all computers would crash, etc.... It was the greatest crisis of a lifetime that never happened. Not so much as a hiccup.
    Funny how little the MSM learned from that; the hogwash today is both deeper and smellier than ever- and it ain't coming from FOX, folks.

    Even you have to admit that Trump is by far the most undermined president in historyvof the USA.Trying working yourself under these conditions.Considering how many spanners how been thrown in the works his administration did a pretty good job.Well done.

    Okay, again, you can predict asset prices with any degree of certainty so what you are saying isn't meaningful. Its unclear if you understand what the PE ratio means.

    Well goodness, I know you like the news outlets that are pro-Trump as far as I am concerned I listen to none of them since I hate news with a slant of apparent bias yet these corporations are owned by many, many folks who see it as an investment vehicle, how the company is actually ran is up to the board of directors...Remember that bland and boring doesn't sell much..

    Oh yeah! I forgot a bout the media. Let me revise what I wrote on another thread.

    If there is financial slowdown, Trump's Plan A is to deny it at all costs. If that fails, Plan B is to blame it on the Fed. If that fails, Plan C is to blame it on the Media. And if that fails... Plan D: just blame it on Obama.... That never fails.

    Funny thing is that Trump isn't waiting to see if they fail. He just throws them all in to see which one sticks.
