    Ha ha.
There is a new invention, they are calked boats.
It has more to do with laws then being in an island. Hysterical.

Cops are not discouraged from arresting elites.
Elites avoid prosecution or plead for lesser charges, something that poorer people don’t have access to.

Nice thought but the Americans who were attacked and murdered were living in Mexico.

These people who were killed were not tourists as far as I understand it. They were from an American community of Mormon Fundamentalists. They supposedly have "duel" American-Mexican "citizenship". Still they did not deserve to be murdered.

The drug cartels have been running minisibs from Columbia and other South and Central American countries for years now. I have noted it many times when I hear about the foolishness of the Trump Wall that Mexico is supposed to pay for.

It has already been proven as factually correct. The nation of Mexico has refused outright to submit the sum total of all confiscated firearms to the ATF for tracing purposes. Instead it has only allowed for the examination of a mere handful of firearms it was positively certain could be successfully traced back to the united states, while failing to disclose the amount of munitions that were smuggled into the country from other sources, such as rocket-propelled grenades and fully-automatic firearms that are not available anywhere in the united states.

HEROIC: Teen hid siblings, walked 14 miles for help after Mormon family killed in attack.

    At the hands of savages:

The eight children, some mere infants, who survived the ambush in northern Mexico not only escaped the drug cartel gunmen who killed their mothers but managed to hide in the brush, with some walking miles to get help despite grisly bullet wounds.
    No Greater Love:

In a testament to a mother’s devotion, one woman reportedly stashed her baby on the floor of her Suburban and got out of the vehicle, waving her arms to show the gunmen she wasn’t a threat. She moved away from the vehicle to redirect their attention; her bullet-ridden body was found about 15 yards away from the SUV.

The mother was one of nine U.S. citizens — three women and six children all living in northern Mexico — slaughtered Monday when cartel gunmen ambushed three SUVs along a dirt road in an attack that left one vehicle a burned-out, bullet-riddled hulk.

Late Tuesday a suspect was arrested n the town of Agua Prieta, right at the border with the U.S. state of Arizona, holding two hostages who were gagged and tied inside a vehicle.

The five wounded children were seriously enough injured that Mexican authorities flew them to the border in a military helicopter to receive hospital care in the United States. Three other children who were not wounded are in the care of family members in the tiny hamlet of La Mora in northern Mexico.

    More:

    Siblings saving siblings:

Devin Blake Langford, 13, was one of the few uninjured young people and quickly took charge, eventually walking about 14 miles back to La Mora for help.

“After witnessing his mother and brothers being shot dead, Devin hid his six other siblings in the bushes and covered them with branches to keep them safe while he went for help.” “When he took too long to return, his 9-year-old sister left the remaining five to try again.”

That girl, Mckenzie Rayne Langford, walked for hours in the dark before she was found several hours after the other children were rescued.
What the children went through in the remote, mountainous area of Sonora state is nearly indescribable. Six and Half Hours of Terror

The kids were on their own from about 1:00 p.m., when the ambush began, until about 7:30 p.m., when they were rescued. Relatives from La Mora tried to reach them before that, but were turned back by gunfire.

In recordings of calls between the rescuers, they can be heard debating whether it was better to risk more lives, or wait for an hour or two until Mexican army troops arrived. It was an agonizing decision.

What they saw when they found the children was terrifying.

Cody Greyson Langford, 8, had been shot in the jaw and bled profusely. Another girl had been shot in the foot and the back.
The Juarez cartel wanted to send a message that it controlled the road into Chihuahua.

disagree, the war in iraq helped President W Bush's re-election, and a war in iran could help President Trump's re-election.

We legalized MJ in Colorado, the cartels haven't lost a penny, they can just now sell their product without the tax mark up. They are not stupid, they didn't throw up their hands and say "Oh gosh darn, I guess we lost Colorado now, let's move on" you can legalize every drug known to man and they are not going out of business. You have to give them one choice only, get out of the business and live or stay in and die. That is it.

    In your own world, maybe.
Most falsehoods start with, “It has been proven...”
Followed by a complete lack of references.

If Trump could swing it, he’d go war with Mexico. The only thing stopping him is the loss of the economy of Texas and a national recession.

This probably should be a separate thread but WTH.. here goes.

I had proposed a separate Force composed of military- all branches , CIA, FBI, electronic , finance , chemical, information specialists, and other Intel agencies and even drawn from police forces to perform out of the ordinary operations that are not completely military. This force would be assembled on a mission by mission basis. This force would perform anti crime, anti terrorist, and politically oriented missions strictly outside of the US. This force could be given the mission to assassinated political, criminal, economic, informational, or business targets. This force could be used as a national revenge force such as in this case where Mexican drug cartels apparently murdered the American-Mexican kids and women. I would never advocate killing children of criminals or terrorists but wives, mistresses, or girlfriends would be a possibility but strictly outside of the US.

    no story !
    LA times
“American firearms are directly driving the violence, although U.S. appetites for drugs and rampant corruption among Mexican officials also play a role. About 70% of guns recovered by Mexican law enforcement officials from 2011 to 2016 were originally purchased from legal gun dealers in the United States, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.”

In fact, criminals can easily obtain every kind of weapon everywhere. Even in nations with the strangest gun control laws. Like the UK and Sweden.

"Like many of his neighbors in Varby Gard, Mr. Borisho had sought asylum in Sweden to escape a war. He knew what a grenade sounded like. As a commando in a Lebanese militia, he had handled grenades, and remembered the strict protocols he complied with, locking up the weapons for safe keeping the minute he returned to camp.

That a grenade should be found on the sidewalk outside a kebab shop, a few steps from an elementary school, was difficult for him to take in.

“Now, when I think of the future, I am afraid,” he said. “I am afraid for Europe.”

Illegal weapons often enter Sweden over the Oresund Bridge, a 10-mile span that links the southern city of Malmo to Denmark. When it opened, in 2000, the bridge symbolized the unfurling of a vibrant, borderless Europe, but in recent years it has been more closely associated with smuggling, of people, weapons and drugs."
THE NEW YORK TIMES, Hand Grenades and Gang Violence Rattle Sweden’s Middle Class, By Ellen Barry and Christina Anderson, March 3, 2018.

Gun Control Kills. But I would not want to discourage Democrats and RINOs from campaigning for gun control.

The UK enacted the Dunblane Gun Ban in 1996. Crime, including gun crime has soared repeatedly since then.

“THE number of crimes involving handguns reached
its highest level for seven years in 2000…

The total was more than a third up on the previous
year, according to figures given in a parliamentary
written answer by Lord Bassam of Brighton, a Home
Office minister.” Thomas Harding, “Handgun crime soars despite
    Dunblane ban,” The Telegraph, 11/01/01.

Our corrupt ruling political class knows how to buy a Get Out Of Jail card.
Most Americans know how the system works.

    "[W]ASHINGTON - Oh, heck, let's just impeach
him again. With Monica Lewinsky, Bill Clinton subverted
the legal system and sullied the presidency. With Marc
Rich, he perverted the legal system and may have traded
a constitutional power for personal benefit....

The Clintons ran a cash-and-carry White House. They
were either hawking stuff or carting it off.

    Beyond Denise Rich's $3 million fund-raising
lunch and personal donations - $450,000 to
the Clinton library, more than $1 million to
Democrats, $10,000 to the Clinton legal
defense fund, $7,375 for Clinton furniture -
let's hope Bill Clinton has a Swiss bank
account set up by Marc Rich."...

“First Mr. Holder said he did not make a fuss
because he did not know who Marc Rich was.
Then he said he did not make a fuss because
he assumed a pardon would not be granted to a
    known fugitive.”
THE NEW YORK TIMES, Maureen Dowd, Liberties; ”Get Rich Quick,", 2/11/2001.

    Gangs suck.

    Cartels suck.

    Mexico sucks.

I'd love to see the American military move in to Mexico and wipe out the cartels, like they did with ISIS. This is not 10,000 miles away in an Asian jungle. It's here.

I pointed out that Congress has stopped voting to declare war.
Any president that thinks he will be reelected by going to war now had better win a final victory before the next election.

It is now clear that endless war for over 75 years at a cost of hundreds of thousands of American casualties and 10s of $trillions has only harmed America and the American people.

You are right, and there's evidently nothing that the United States can or will do to insure that the SAFETY of our citizens living abroad is insisted on. These people did choose to live in the sh*t-slimed confines of Mexico, and that's just "too damned bad". Believe me, I'm an old guy... I remember when no country would have DARED to have allowed anything like this to happen....

But, today, the cartels are active in the United States, the 'coyotes' bring in hundreds or thousands more all the time. We need to protect U. S. citizens who live WITHIN the United States... but, it seems that at least half the country (infested with Democrats) don't even want to do THAT.... The Americans who choose to live in the gut-bucket sewer that is Mexico today are on their own.

Now, lock your doors, load your guns, prepare for the worst -- because nobody's going to come save you when the real sh*t hits the fan! And America-hating radical Democrats are going to serve it up for all of us ON A PLATTER! Wait and see....

[IMG]. "What we really need in this country are MORE 'Sanctuary Cities'...." :spin:

Kind of getting off the beaten track aren’t you. This is Mexico our neighbor were supplying most of their arms for, not Sweden.
