Was the high unemployment under Obama not a crisis?

If you want to stick to your NPC responses instead of discussing the problems on the problems cited here-

Be my guest. I have better things to do.

A wall would help. More border patrol officers would help. More resources for border protection would help.

Those are only Band-Aids®, however. The only true solution is the reform of our immigration law.

Dude was acting like an NPC, spouting a programmed line instead of addressing the conversation he quoted.

Those feeding at the government trough for many years don't want to have to work hard again, so they vote to keep the Dems in power.

Retorts when not followed thru with any kind of debate or discussion are simply NPC-level tweets. The wisdom you say you see isn't actually there, and until we see some kind of reasoned discussion and give-and-take from him - or indeed any poster, it's simply a mirage.

    True.

    Trump Fanboys = NPC.

And everybody knows that the True NPCs (who are ruled by Breitbart groupthink, with no minds of their own) are Trump's Online Troll Army.

    Case closed. End of story.:salute:

The RW BS Factory is RUINING (what is remaining of) this forum.

Many of the people (who actually possessed brains) have long since left this place since It has been overrun by RW Trolls.

Just look at how many RW Trolls (mindlessly pounding the Trump Drum) have joined in just the last few months.

This place has been overrun by RW Trolls (who have no "content" to offer but the latest immature RW Fever Swamp BS memes).

Although I must admit, that the Uproarious Comic Relief that they provide is sometimes entertaining.

The RW Troll Squad has been reduced to a low rent comedy act.

Well, let's test that theory AJ. I present to you two posts that come from the left-wing side of this forum that - while I disagree with their politics, I see them making an argument that can be countered, and a back-and-forth debate can be made. I can see their point of view but could also engage in debate with each on the merits of their arguments. Actually, both of them MADE arguments in regards to the OP and both of them can and have disagreed with posters before, sometimes going in pages-long arguments where points were raised and discussed:

Serious question, and I actually say this without snark: When was the last time you've done that? I can't remember a time when you've done anything BUT troll a thread - "So what? Who cares?" or simply gone off about RW trolls - but how about adding TO the discussion rather than simply doing what you're accusing others of doing? Can you do that - make an detailed argument about the OP and engage in debate rather than always complaining about a group of posters you disagree with?

As much as I disagree with Bower and Ad, they ARE adding to the forum, ARE a credit to PF and are willing to engage with posters they disagree with. Can you say the same? So like I said - let's test what you say. Debate the OP, AJ.

I posted the OP, and AJ never debates.

Its always a variation of so what? Who cares? Republicans are worse...

He dodges, ducks, dips, dives and dodges.

But never can respond with authority.

He also leaves for long periods when he's proven wrong.

Where does he go and why?

Thank you for the compliment but I have to say that AJ had a point. It gets you down when you have to scroll past one line post after one line post because you KNOW that there will be no added value to the discussion - no addressing of the points just more "Dem Libs and Doze Righties". Somehow America has to move past "We are better than those over there who are no better than they should be". Debate issues and politicians not people

He has a point. *A* - point. As in one - the same one, over and over and over again. And I never see him debate issues or posters.

I remember one poster - I doubt you ever ran into him - Jack Napier. Pretty much a Nazi sympathizer, had posted occasionally that the wrong side won WWII, most of his posts were about the Jews and Israel and he was not a fan of either. I wanted to reach thru the screen and slap him most of the time but he never ran from a discussion, was always able and willing to debate others, and could articulate his viewpoint about the OP. No one can say the same about AJ who just dismisses the right in every thread then leaves.

Let's put it this way: You and AJ - one of you engages in discourse with people you disagree with. One simply posts the same words over and over without actually discussing anything, which boils down to what an NPC is. But like I said - AJ can prove me wrong by actually debating the OP with me in a back-and-forth. The invite is out there.

I appreciate your comments. I have to confess to being sarcastic at times, which really doesn't add to the discussion. It's more of a venting of frustration with what I see as the trolling and name calling. In a sense, that makes me guilty as well. Guess I'll have to live up to the standard.

I'd push back on this a touch and on 2 parts. One; just to clarify I don't think that Trump Fans are automatically NPC's, and Two; They are hardly the only ones to claim the NPC mantle. I don't think that's news to you but I wanted to clarify.

I think JOBS NOT MOBS really sticks out in light of the illegal immigrant caravans.

As Elaine and I sat at a booth and enjoyed our dinner, a man came in off the street and rushed at us. Acting alone, he began shouting, slamming his fists on our table, and causing a disruption as others tried to eat. At one point, he even grabbed my wife’s to-go box off of our table and threw it outside onto the ground.

Almost immediately, the restaurant’s other customers began rejecting his harassment. They told him to quiet down or leave. A few men even approached the aggressor and escorted him to the exit. We are grateful to our fellow diners and the restaurant staff who helped end the disruption.

I’m not sure exactly what in my career suggests I would be easily swayed by such a spectacle. ..

I enjoyed my meal in Louisville on Friday night, and I will continue to eat with my friends and family at my favorite Kentucky restaurants. I appreciate those who spoke up against the shameful behavior. We hope other customers weren’t too inconvenienced by the extremist left-wing tantrums.
