Odd how now vetting of past jobs has become important, where was this zeal 8 years ago? Oh right, the guy they wanted never had even one success that could match that of a Reality TV host. Not just a reality TV host, but a NETWORK, reality TV show. In a land of hundreds of stations that actually means something. Unless your next comment is 'please annex our pitiful nation' you should probably keep out of topics that don't concern you...

Maybe he'll pick the equally qualified Paula Abdul as his running mate

For some reason I think it probably takes a little more talent and builds a little more qualification to say your fired than saying your present...

I fought for Cruz against the cretinous Trump fans but now we have him for better or worse and I have to say it is only a sick abused nation that has been hijacked by the progressives that could produce a candidate like Trump as a counter weight to the wild swing to the left.
You can all thank Obama and the wildly dishonest government approved media and the complicit RNC for Donald. Personally I wish things had never gotten this far but when your house has been overgrown by noxious weeds and vines you aren't going to reclaim it with a fingernail clipperl

You are going to need to take and ax and a chain saw to your home. And even at that, there will only be so much you can reclaim in one term.
I hope when Obama is sitting in his DC mansion he wakes up in horror every single day seeing how his duplicitous b.s. is being dismantled.
    There's a comforting thought.

Thanks for the update... Now I'll share a little popularity info with you.

    January 12, 2015:
    Clinton - 60.8%
    Sanders - 4%

    May 4, 2015:
    Clinton 61.4%
    Sanders - 9.4%

June 2015 - Sanders announces presidential run and runs on "Free College For All" basis.

    July 6, 2015:
    Clinton - 57.8%
    Sanders - 16.7%

From there, Clinton steadily falls and Sanders steadily rises until April 10, 2016 when Clinton is barely edging him 48.9% to 44%. But now she's been increasing while he decreases.

The Dems are shaking their heads and freaking out! :eyepopping: Trump is not part of their sheeple playbook. They are at a complete loss on how to derail the Trump train. Isn't it quite entertaining to watch them crap their pants? I for one am really enjoying this play out. The dems/lib/progressives are finally seeing the backlash from sane Americans. I really think that they thought most people agreed with their stupidity. Sometimes a (back to reality) slap in the face is the best measure!

    Easy there, Canuck. :)

This may come as a shock to you Molson-sucking seal clubbers up in the Great White North, but 1) there are millions of Americans who aren't the least bit interested in keeping up with the Kardashians and 2) Donald Trump would have never gotten his gig as a reality TV star if he hadn't been a yuge real estate developer first.

To be honest with you, we have done and can do a lot worse than elect the CEO of a large multinational enterprise POTUS...

Congrats are in order, but Trump is just riding the wave of something far larger than himself. The political phenomenon that has carried him to this point is what I find truly remarkable...

What anecdotal nonsense? The FACT that HRC has received more popular votes than Trump? Also the claim about closed primaries etc. is a non-starter. Those conditions exist in the Democratic Primary as well. As I have said it would illogical to conclude that the number of candidates on either side would skew the result in a popular election. Either you convince people to vote for you or you don't.

The fact that you called the fact that HRC has more popular votes than Trump as anecdotal means that you don't even know what anecdotal evidence is.

If the Libs just came back "to reality" they would see and acknowledge this is a history making moment . But I'm guessing that won't/can't see it because it poops in the face of everything they believe/stand for. Oh well - sorry

Both Obama and Hillary got around 17 million primary votes each in 2008.
'Trump now sits at a little under 12 million.

    Just putting things in perspective.

It really isn't "history making" - both Hillary AND Obama had more votes in the 2008 primary.

Well thank you for so conveniently expressing the ignorance of a typical Trump supporter. Trump is a proven racist bigot. His policy proposals can logically be viewed as anti-islamic especially given his passed proven bigotry. I don't know anyone who has called Trump a homophobe. Please provide examples.

Nope everyone knows or should know that Trump is a complete fraud. From his claims of business success that is at best a mixed bag. From his fraudulent real estate course. To his complete lies on the campaign trail and to his fraudulent charitable contributions.

I mean politifact couldn't even find one lie to agree because there were so many (76% of his campaign claims) that they just chose his campaign as one big lie.

I don't care what other people say or do. I care what I say or do. To say that it was allegedly is lie. Trump was found guilty by a judge as it is clearly worded in his decision that he was guilty of racial discrimination. No weaseling out of this one. It was said that there was no way Trump could have been found guilty of racism and yet there is the evidence not once but twice separated by 20 years. Given his PROVEN racist past it is up to Trump to convince that he is NOT a racist. He has not even tried and in fact has continued to fan the flames of his own racism by his actions in the campaign. Trump has done nothing to disprove that he is the same racist he was 20 and 40 years ago.

    - - - Updated - - -

That is factually inaccurate. There wasn't a Democratic Club meeting I didn't go to between 2006 and now where Bernie Sanders was not mentioned.

First it was from 1973 not 1979 and did you read the judges decision.

Here is the link to partial of the judges decision. If you want to give $60 bucks I will send you the full decision.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...90163e-bfbe-11e5-bcda-62a36b394160_story.html

What passes for being found guilty of racism is that a judge in a court of law rules that your are in fact guilty racial discrimination. That was done not once but twice by Trump.

Oh yeah write the second one off too. He was found guilty and fined by and administrative law judge of racial discrimination charges brought by no less than 7 employees of his. If you had bothered to read you would find out that the employees charges include direct contact with Trump himself. The fact that he may have done at the behest of supposed high roller which he was found to have illegally given money to is worse not mitigating.
