It applies to real crimes committed by real criminals. Like Trump's minons yesterday or the hired "antifa" goons in the pay of the Billionaires Cabal. Peaceful demonstrators are just exercising a right and should be left alone

 

I refuse to argue with you or anyone else over this but I'd advise you and those like you to realize that they will NEVER be able to effectively crush dissent by causing it to be seen as destructive or illegal. Make a law against speech or gun ownership and the only effect will be conflict that weakens the nation.
I have no doubt that trouble is coming. Those who think as you do will not be able to moderate their desire to implement edicts and curtail rights that Americans hold sacred. The line that will be crossed that will cause the explosion will be blatant infringement of gun rights. We may not fall into civil war over it but the only way to avoid it will be secession. It's our choice and I hope it is made wisely.

In that case, you need to provide a direct quote and link that is adequate to prove your assertion. there was no 'concession' unless you can provide evidence of one. This did not do the trick.

He did concede. It’s over. Every single person who stormed the capitol did so in vein. They will get thrown in jail and lose their jobs and they didn’t change anything. He folded on you.

 

ANY action that disputes or attempts to nullify - "the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed" I include in this category ANY so-called Red Flag law. IMO, anyone who supports giving a government authority to nullify or go around our bill of rights is a person who does not understand or value our freedoms. If THEY want to voluntarily disarm then I applaud them. When they decide they have a right to take MY RIGHTS away in the name of their safety, we are going to have a serious problem that will likely lead to some poor outcomes.

It's years that around I hear that he wants to create a new TV network. Well, it could be a nice move to have a future business [I guess he would find enough audience].

He's making an attempt to leave the White House without pending legal matters.

I repeat that I would not add a drama [the fall of a President] to a drama [what has been going on in the last months].
Probably it's better to go back to rules, political "rituals" and ceremony, following the tradition connected with the transition from a President to an other.

Not to forget one of his main concerns in the election campaign 4 years ago ... We are building a wall on the border to Mexico and Mexico will pay for it. ROFL ... Mexico hasn't paid 1 cent for it yet, but the US taxpayer has paid. But, as usual, his Trumponians did not take or resent even this lie.

 

Donald is just another dullard in a hopelessly long line. The real problem is the shallowness of American political thinking (or, thinking at all).
