Trump Won because he WASN'T Hillary...
    In 2016, it wasn't a Pro-Trump Vote it was an Anti-Hillary Vote...
Biden Won because he WASN'T Trump...
    In 2020, it wasn't a Pro-Biden Vote it was an Anti-Trump Vote...

Well, Andy, if what you're trying to say is that the Democrat Party today has nothing better to offer the United States than the kind of America-hating, 'woke' idocy pushed by welfare-peddling clowns, then it's a sad, sick day for our country.

I can think of at least three really good, sound reasons why I would not want to see Donald Trump back in the White House in January 2025, and they would not be the same reasons you'd have. But, I can think of many MORE reasons why I would not want to see ANY of today's cabal of hateful, doctrinaire, and frankly STOOPID, irresponsible Democrats in the White House (including the demented mediocrity you guys installed there in 2020).

Maybe it just boils down to who makes you want to PUKE less! Trump, or whatever Democrats dredge up from their own political toilet to throw out to the voting public. 'Geriatric Joe' again? 'Kamala-la-la-ding-dong'? Something even WORSE... if that's even possible...?

Well, when using Fetterman as example, SURE! But let us not ignore the attraction the DNC and party have with the mentally challenged. ByDummy
    Pelosi
    Fetterman
    Feinstein
    Hank Johnson

And I'm sure there are a few dozen DNC sleepers creeping about the halls of Washingtom we know little about :)

They shot themselves in the foot the minute they made Trump their nominee in 2016. Since then, they've been limping around, trying to ignore the wound, until it festered.

    Good point, Josh...
    About the "Same old faces"...
And, the True Irony of the GOP/Trump/MAGA Crowd:
They talk about Biden being "Old and Senile"...
YET, they support a Man Pushing 80 (who will turn Age 79 a few months after they would take office)...
BOTH Parties need some "Younger" Options...

Agree except I will not vote for trump under any circumstances. Millions of sane republicans and independents will do the same.

Spare me the gratuitous "your devotion to Trump" bullshit. I supported Rand Paul in the 2016 GOP primaries and I'll be supporting Paul or DeSantis in 2024.

After watching the Democrat choice "ByDummy" I'd think they would at least go for coherency before age, then again it seems the lure of incoherency is very popular with the base! See, Fetterman

I don't doubt that. And trump wouldn't stand a snowballs chance in hell of beating any of them. Republicans need to wake up on this exactly because the dems can (and will) do worse than biden.

In 2016, I believed that a non-politician coming to Washington was a good thing for the country. I still believe it could be. The biggest problem with Washington is the politicians.

In 2020, I voted Republican because I could not understand how anyone could choose a man with dementia. Of course, those people astounded me even more voting in a Senator that will never again achieve a capacity to do the job after a massive stroke just a few months back.

In 2024, I will not vote against the GOP should Trump's name appear on the Presidential ballot, but I also won't vote for him. And I will never in any lifetime vote for Liz Cheney. She is as much a wack job as the guy this thread is about.

It is time for new blood. It is time for a fresh, new candidate that can bridge the divide with the American people. I don't believe we have seen that person yet.

I believe Tulsi has ideas that could establish that bridge, but Democrat's hate her. They don't hate AOC or other members of The Squad, but they hate Tulsi. Kind of sad!

    GLASS HOUSES.jpg

Like the authoritarians who support health insurance and vaccine mandates?

Like the fascists who support shutting down free speech and the free flow of information?

Like the sanctimonious hypocrites who elected Joe Biden and Bill Clinton?

LOL - That reminds me of something P.J. O'Rourke once said:

Think what evil creeps liberals would be if their plans to enfeeble the individual, exhaust the economy, impede the rule of law, and cripple national defense were guided by a coherent ideology instead of smug ignorance.

He will beat Biden though, particularly if he stays calm and on message like he did last night.

    He was being nice.

For some reason I get the impression P.J. isn't one of the Left's biggest fanboys:

At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child — miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats.

The principal feature of American liberalism is sanctimoniousness. By loudly denouncing all bad things — war and hunger and date rape — liberals testify to their own terrific goodness. More important, they promote themselves to membership in a self-selecting elite of those who care deeply about such things.... It's a kind of natural aristocracy, and the wonderful thing about this aristocracy is that you don't have to be brave, smart, strong or even lucky to join it, you just have to be liberal.

Liberals are always proposing perfectly insane ideas, laws that will make everybody happy, laws that will make everything right, make us live forever, and all be rich. Conservatives are never that stupid.

Not particularly interested in Trump running again BUT watching prog media regress into TDS as they /snicker 'fact check' Trumps speech the other day was a hilarious throwback. These clowns are going to spend more time criticizing the former President over the next 2 years than they will the current President.
