Oh no your prose is fine.

It's where the ideas come from that is the problem.

You're literally suggesting there are sealed indictments based on nothing more than your fervent little wants and desires.

Let us know how that works out in the end. Otherwise, I'm not interested in hearing about your fanciful theories.

His lawyer has been charged in a crime that, according to prosecutors, Trump directed. It would take a miracle for them to indict the lawyer and not the client if that's the case. Either they are bluffing about what they have or there is a sealed indictment.

All I'm saying is that the close of this case does NOT mean that Trump has been cleared. I was saying back in December and Fox was reporting earlier than that that, if there is to be an indictment for Trump in this, it will be sealed. For obvious reasons.

Looks like there was a miracle then.

It only looks that way because you don't understand how sealed indictments work. We don't know yet whether or not there are sealed indictments. Because that's what sealed means.

I don't know if there was an indictment for Trump or not. Neither do you. Because any indictment would be sealed. I look forward to the next dodge of those facts.

I understand that the only sealed indictments we have evidence of are in your imagination.

We have no evidence that there are sealed indictments. We have no evidence that there are no indictments. Because that's what sealed means.

Until it sinks in: I don't know if there was an indictment for Trump or not. Neither do you. Because any indictment would be sealed.

Hold on, let me find the Admiral Akbar meme...ok.

Sure, the courts are trying to lull Trump into a false sense of security by closing the investigation.

    Any day now.

Uh, sealed indictments have nothing to do with lulling people into a false sense of security. Keep memeing, though, if that's easier.

They should make a new one for Trumpists:
"A sitting President can't be indicted!!!"
    "Okay, he hasn't been indicted."
"Seeee! That proves they have nothing on him!!!"

Not really. It just means we were in the same place we were before it was announced that the case was closing. We still don't know.

I'm using memes because your conspiracy theories are starting to bore me.

Good luck with your plans I guess.

You need to look up what a conspiracy theory actually is.

    To recap:
    1) If there is an indictment against Trump, it will be a sealed one
    2) That means we still don't know if there are any indictments agains Trump

That's not a conspiracy theory. That's just basic logic. If you want a conspiracy theory, consult the Trump for whatever one he's cranking out this week. Birtherism, millions of illegals voting, Cruz's dad assassinated JFK, his crowds were secretly bigger than Obama's, let me know what he's peddling to his cultists now.

Well, we CAN infer. The case is closing. If there was an open indictment, it is very unlikely that the case would close. Most often, it would be suspended, but not closed. As I understand it, they also released the documents of the probe yesterday. They would likely not do that if there was an open indictment or if a future indicment was pending.

I may be wrong as i have not read this whole thread, but it seems like your argument is "Well....there COULD be unresolved indictment". There are a lot of things that COULD be. Schrodinger's cat could be dead....or it could still be alive.

Like I said, if you don't want to let it go, don't.

Clutch it tightly until you don't need it any more.

    I don't care.

Would a sealed indictment prevent them from closing the case?

99% of the time, yes. The other 1% is if it was moved to a different court.

Source? I get the "moved to a different court" thing, but where are you getting your numbers from?

You have lots of legal experience with sealed indictments? Then I appreciate your input.
