No, not just the President. All Democratic politicians should be subpoenaed for their financial records.

fine by me, the more information we have about our elected officials the better, you guys are free to set the precedent

but that includes republican officials you know... we do not just request tax records from republicans, we treat all presidents the same

Never mind - I want the Roswell info and other alien encounter info declassified ! - Then we can start the investigating the dirty swamp bureaucrats that run our intelligence agencies.

To be sure - this is quite interesting.

They'll just change the rules at that point.

Kind of like how the states awarding their electoral college votes to the popular vote winner have the ability to NOT do so, if they decide not to.

Wonder when they'd go that route...

doesn't work that way, if republicans change them then change them back right before they lose power, dems can just change them again

It seems like almost every release has been a nothing burger since obama's turn at least. Hillary never had charges trump never had charges obama never had charges. They keep looking for a smoking gun against the other and nothing happens. Plus both bases are so brainwashed they would care Trump could shoot a guy on 5th Avenue and hillary and biden could have every charge be true against them and it would be Trump's fault. Sad world.

The Mueller team based their recommendations on three Supreme Court rulings regarding Obstruction.

The Obstruction material in the Mueller Report didn't meet the standard to make a charge in the first place.

But, AGAIN, the only way the House can initiate impeachment from any criminal investigation involving a Grand Jury is after an adjudication takes place.

Mueller had nothing in the first place and ran for his life when he found out that Barr would take a close look at the conduct of the prosecutors he was supervising.

Bottom Line: Congress can't legally use diddly squat from the Mueller Report.

Nadler will have to try to create an entirely new case.

Fat chance that it will happen now with the FISA scandal on the table.

fake news, Mueller was going by the DOJ recommendations not to indict a sitting President, he told us that up front that was what he was going to do and he did it, it's up to congress
