His working for free because he loves the country and can.

He has every right to play golf where he wants to. Sorry Obama never was smart ensign to make those investments in real estate.

He isn’t working for free. That’s the lie he tells to his gullible base.
He is raking in undisclosed amounts of taxpayer money.

No he isn’t working for free because he is using the power of his office to shovel taxpayer money into his own pocket.
He is forcing taxpayers to pay money to his businesses. That is outrageous but not only don’t you care, you support and cheer on his corruption.
    Pathetic.

Sorry, there is no rule saying a president can’t play golf at resorts he’s invested in. It’s hardly outrageous either. Presidents can play golf at any course they like.

What outrageous is your flawed logic that a president somehow can’t have investments

Of course it is outrageous. That is why most presidents use blind trusts.

It would be absolutely outrageous for a president to invest in Boeing and then award massive contracts to Boeing ahead of other contractors. Or invest in Ford and then direct all federal agencies to buy only Ford vehicles.

What’s the point of a blind trust? The company he has investments in has his name. The course he plays at in Virginia is named after him

Agreed. He even donates his salary to combat the opioid epidemic and the left attacks him.

He should do the ethical thing and say that during his presidency, his businesses will not accept any money from the federal government or foreign governments. THAT would get my respect. He can play golf elsewhere for a few years (although it might not be as easy to cheat on courses he doesn't own).

So just to be clear, you see nothing wrong in an elected official directing public funds towards that official's personal business?

And we are not talking about his "former" businesses. He remains the beneficial owner even if he is not as involved in the day-to-day running.

The president doesn’t run a business anymore. I have no problem with the president playing golf where he wants to ir visiting his home

He owns the business, even if he doesn't run it.

And he, as president, is directing federal taxpayer money towards his own personal business.

This is corruption. There is no other word for it. Any other federal employee would be in prison for doing this, but you defend it and even cheer it on.

No he has stock in the business.

He’s playing golf and visiting his homes.
