Do you understand its the law, not his supporters, that 'gives him a pass?' What we think means nothing. You should be mad at the DOJ for not agreeing with your ridiculous charges against President Trump. :deadhorse:

I have gone back and read it and I still don't know what you are trying to say.

The Post writes, "Trump lamented the duration and cost of the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election led by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, which he has repeatedly said found “no collusion, no obstruction.”

“Then, I have an Article II, where I have to the right to do whatever I want as president,” he said. “But, I don’t even talk about that.'"

Well, in a way, you can't blame him. The Republican Congress has given Trump the power of the purse and the power to go to war, two powers granted to Congress by our Constitution. His administration ignores Congressional subpoenas and nothing happens. What is he suppose to think? Republican won't rein him in. He does and says anything he wants.

Trump on Monday touted a secret plan to win the war in Afghanistan “in a week” at a tremendous cost to life, but insisted he would rather negotiate.

“If we wanted to fight a war in Afghanistan and win it, I could win that war in a week. I just don't want to kill 10 million people,” Trump said.

The President continued, “I have plans on Afghanistan that if I wanted to win that war, Afghanistan would be wiped off the face of the Earth. It would be gone. It would be over in literally in ten days. And I don't want to do that. I don't want to go that route.”

Trump talks like this all the time. Why on earth did it surprise you or motivate you to spend time writing about it?
