Trump haters sure out there hatin' tonight. Nancy and Chuck set off the fireworks that barely even fizzle. Did anyone care about the first impeachment? NO!

No one says it is OK, but I didn't see the Antifa fly Biden flags, or any other flags identifying them as Democrats. They didn't do it to promote any political party or political person. In the other hand there is no mistaking what the Capitol attack was all about, since the Capitol was basically swallowed by a tsunami of Trump flags.

 

And when Republicans and Trump supporters commit insurrection ? What's your pronouncement on that ?

There may some other Republicans siding with the Democrats with impeaching Trump in a conviction. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more Republicans losing their fear of Trump and what Trump could do but realize that he can't anymore.

 

IMO the Dems are making a mistake, but what else is new....... Biden, in the other hand, is being smart by staying out of it. He would be even smarter if he told the D-Congress to drop it.

I watched the defense's presentation today, and it was far from brilliant. Can't Trump hire anyone other than Stormy Daniels who can do handle the job competently? It was cringworthy.

 

Yesterday wasn't a good day for Trump and I doubt today will be a good one either.

 

The best defense is to cite the unconstitutionality of impeaching a private citizen, and then point out that if democrats really were interested in the continuation of the prosecution from when he was in office to demand that Old Patrick be replaced by the Chief Justice as required by said constitution. Think about it. Democrats are inventing a new standard where the presiding judge is also a juror, and the prosecution all rolled up into one. The very example of a kangaroo court.

 

So, perhaps just turn on the news and watch ANTFIA chant for burning down DC today or yesterday. Sounds a lot like they listened to Nancy and Chuck. When do you suppose their trials will be?

 

Looks like democrats fomenting violence and insurrection. When do we suppose the Chuck and Nancy trials will start?

 

They would be treated as separate crimes...if any. Remember...there has to be a nexus between the speech/chants and an actual crime. On January 6th, the "speech" called upon the VP to break the law and called on the crowd to go to the Capitol to support the VP in doing so. Who they got into the Capitol building, the mob was told via tweet that the VP had failed them and lacked the courage to go by the "new rules."

 

The weakness of what case? There is no case! That's why Trump won't humor them by appearing. Good for him! How can there be an impeachment to remove a president from office when he's not in office?

The Democrats have managed to make us a mockery all over the world, not that it's something we don't deserve what with our regime changes, invasions, sanctions, bombings, etc., etc.

Of course it's a sham trial. The Dems have a habit of inventing situations to use as a distraction from something else. Russiagate was to distract from Hillary using a personal server for confidential government business. So what are they trying to distract from now? Is it Biden's connections with China and Ukraine, or the illegalities of the election in key states?

Not that it really matters. Our liberal courts will interpret our Constitution in whichever way they want. We're now a third world country, and its exactly what President Trump tried to fight - after all he does love his country. Trump's not going to give up on saving it, so maybe there's still hope for us.

If Trump is convicted, He will never hold public office again and that is a fact. Whether Justice is served remains a different matter.

 

Is there really an "if" at this point. The senate already took a vote that shows the democrats don't have the votes. But the kangaroo court continues boys and girls. Why? NBC thinks it will get them ratings.... As if.

 

No, it will reveal which spineless Republican senators condone Trump's actions and give him a free pass.

The Constitution clearly states that the Chief Justice shall preside over a presidential impeachment. Unless you have an older version of Adobe Constitution Reader then it might be moot.

 

It is a way to prove that it was acceptable behavior in the current Washington atmosphere. Everybody only does it because it is acceptable.
