Due process??? Lmao you have got to be kidding me. He hasn’t been charged with anything that proves he’s an insurrectionist. Lori lightfoot made a call to arms just before someone was arrested for wanting to murder kavanagh. Is she an insurrectionist? How about all the representatives that refused to denounce the violence of BLM, are they insurrectionists? How deep you want this to go?

So now everybody (but you) is making everything up?
    Sounds desperate

I have. So did the SCOTUS which is why they kicked this idiocy to the curb back in October.

It already went to the SCOTUS and they kicked it to the curb back in October.
Supreme Court declines to hear long-shot 14th Amendment challenge to disqualify Trump
    https://thehill.com/regulation/cour...14th-amendment-challenge-to-disqualify-trump/

And they will rule the same way with Colorado's claims

it's pointless because you have no point to explain.

Yes, 1/6 is not formally an 'insurrection' until SCOTUS says it is.

Until then, all we have opinions.

Now, SCOTUS's ruling is an 'opinion' as well, but it's the only one that counts.

If they don't grant cert, then their opinion is that the lower courts opinion is correct.

But, SCOTUS has to rule. UNLESS no one appeals to the SCOTUS then the lower courts ruling is the one that counts.

So the left decided to run it up flag poles around their Democrat judges to see who would bite?
    Too funny

The bump stock… it’s the only confiscation or destruction order ever passed with anything gun related in US history.

We did. It got shot down on the merits last November. You guys decided you didn't like that so you ran to states thinking you could get a different result.

So how do you think the SCOTUS is going to rule on this a second time, when they already to the loony left this claim is just idiocy?

How about all the sitting Republicans who refused to denounce the Orange Stain’s Big Lie about the free, fair and secure election he lost ? How about the judge that made a finding that he assisted Insurrectionists? How about all the wailing MAGA types and Republicans who don’t even want him tried on 91 felony counts ? Wiping their backsides with due process and the Constitution much ?

You people may not like or agree with the charges, but they were produced through due process yet you somehow want them to magically go away just because he’s your boy.

And exactly my point. This can trickledown to any politician and democrats are proving they’re willing and ready to go that low. So this will be quite the interesting deal if we go off of the Colorado standard of no criminal findings of insurrectionist and simply rely on opinion. It’s complete desperation. And should be reversed.

No, the Orange Stain should stand trial in DC before the election and resolve the question in court in front of a jury.

What is there to reverse? The ballots aren't even being printed yet, as far as I can tell. What specific action are you saying should be stayed?

The Colorado decision should be reversed. It doesn’t matter when ballots are printed.

The Colorado decision is stayed. And will remain stayed until SCOTUS rules. Unless trump decides that he won’t appeal.

Aside from printing the ballots, there doesn't seem anything at the moment to stay.

    1. The Colorado SCOTUS is not known for liberal leanings. If you're convinced otherwise, lease provide proof.

    2. This lawsuit was not brought to the court by liberals, but by a group of Republicans.

    3. Yes, they have. Is that not the entirety of Jack Smith's case, trial to begin in March?

    4. What I'm cheering is the fact that at least some states are trying to uphold the law in accordance with the 14th amendment.

Sorry, but it does look like your hero is guilty of inciting an insurrection.

Do I really need to explain to you the difference between an impeachment and a criminal indictment?

Anyway, you'll have a chance to figure it out in a few months.

Nope... Trump was never criminally indicted or convicted for insurrection..
Trump was charged with "incitement of insurrection" and acquitted.

You answered your own question: Trump was never charged, criminally , and never acquitted .
The Senate was not a criminal trial. He can still be charged and tried criminally.
