You sure don't sound like you have any fun when it comes to Trump. More like blood boiling most of the time.

A recovery none the less due to the most severe recession our country has ever known. Digging out took time, which is understandable. Hindsight is better than foresight and our recovery is just what the doctor ordered. Piling tax reductions on the rich has been boon to them as they invested their money to make more money.

    Now this is funny.

According to Fox News, "President Trump on Friday announced a so-called "safe third country" deal with Guatemala to restrict asylum claims to the United States from Central America, calling it a “landmark agreement” and arguing it “will put the coyotes and smugglers out of business."

"Trump told reporters he believes “this will really help” with the situation at the border.

“This is a very big day,” he said."

"The agreement would require migrants, including Salvadorans and Hondurans, who cross into Guatemala on their way to the U.S. to apply for protections in ... are ready for this? ... Guatemala."

That's right. Trump's deal would require these migrants trying to escape from Central America to seek refuge in Central America.:clapping::roflol:

Come on, now that is funny.

Trumpets have a tendency to forget that Obama inherited from his Republican predecessor two of the longest wars in our history and the Great Recession, the worst global economic disaster since the Great Depression of the 1930's.

Trump inherited from Obama a training and advisory mission in Afghanistan and an economy that was well on its way to recovery, for which Trump is benefiting a great deal. Everything else Trump touches turns into a disaster. I'm dying for someone to ask me to prove that.

Despite the enormous success of our economy, Trump is the least popular President in modern American history. Americans know Trump has done absolutely nothing for our economy except eliminate some paperwork two years ago.

I asked Trump's supporters, "I have a question. What is Trump doing for the American people? It would appear that everything Trump does is for himself or is intended to put himself in the limelight, sometimes not for the best of reasons."

This was the only answer I got.

Trump's fans could not answer the question.

Others more than I have answered that question in thousands of posts.
    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...-in-just-20-months-relentless-promise-keeping
The Trump administration’s often overlooked list of achievements has surpassed those of former President Ronald Reagan at this time and more than doubled since the last tally of accomplishments after his first year in office, giving President Trump a solid platform to run for re-election on.

As Trump nears the two-year mark of his historic election and conducts political rallies around the country, during which he talks up his wins in hopes it will energize Republican voters, the administration has counted up 289 accomplishments in 18 categories, capped by the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

They include 173 major wins, such as adding more than 4 million jobs, and another 116 smaller victories, some with outsize importance, such as the 83 percent one-year increase in arrests of MS-13 gang members.

Now you are telling me I am not having fun with Trump. That is a truly amazing assumption. Actually, it is quite absurd.

The truth is, I enjoy writing about Trump, and I am good at it. I often prove what an idiot he is, and you can't challenge what I write. Instead, you make ludicrous statements about me.

successes in reducing the cost of taxes and regulations, rebuilding our military, avoiding wars of choice and changing the courts rival those of all previous Republican presidents,” said Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.

“Trump has an advantage over Ronald Reagan: He has a Reagan Republican House and Senate while Reagan had a [Democratic Speaker] Tip O’Neill House and a pre-Reagan Republican Senate. Reagan and [former GOP Speaker] Newt Gingrich were the ice breakers that allowed Trump’s victories to grow in number and significance,” he added.

Unlike the Year One list which included many proposals and orders still to be acted on, the new collection includes dozens of actions already in place, signed legislation, and enforced executive orders.

For example, while the Year One list bragged about the administration’s efforts to rewrite the much-maligned NAFTA trade deal with Canada and Mexico, the Year Two list said: “Negotiated an historic U.S.-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement to replace NAFTA.”

In December, Secrets reported on the first list of White House accomplishments.

And shockingly the NAFTA achievement is presented as a sidebar to the larger achievement that reads, “President Trump is negotiating and renegotiating better trade deals, achieving free, fair, and reciprocal trade for the United States.” Under that umbrella are eight trade deals cut with Japan, South Korea, Europe and China.

“President Trump is a truly unique leader in American history. He’s a kid from Queens who became an international business leader and made billions by getting things when no one said he could,” said Trump’s 2016 campaign pollster John McLaughlin.

“They told him he couldn’t be president and beat the establishment and he did. For two years the establishment is telling him he can’t do things in Washington and he’s succeeding in spite of them. He never retreats. He doesn’t back up. He’s relentless. He just wins,” he added.

Comparing the two years shows that the latest has an expanded group of economic achievements while the pro-life category was folded into the health care section.

What's funny about Central America not having a single "safe" country to seek refuge in?

it's a beauty of an exercise in pure stupidity.

Starting with tthe fact that, of course, Guatemala is not a "safe haven" But also given the fact that 150.000 refugees have come from or through Guatemala since last October. According to the UN agency on refugees UNHCR, Guatemala can't take many more than the 262 refugees they have already taken in that same period. So they can apply, but they'll be rejected because Guatemala can't take them anyway.

It's amazing how such a fool can be a multi millionaire. Having no political experience, yet beat out every Republican candidate running against him. Then beat out a woman who was not only First Lady, but Secretary of State and has a life times experience in Washington. Who had only a 2-4% chance of beating her. Then took this economy that Obama had turned into a mostly low paying service and part time economy and in just 2 1/2 years turned it into one of the hottest economies in decades. Fixed it so Blacks, Hispanics and Asians all have seen the lowest unemployment in their history. I bet the Left wishes they had a fool like that.

Norquist obviously loves the lower taxes provided by the all Republican Congress and is not concerned about the rising national debt under Trump.

One important difference between Trump's debt figures and Obama's is that Trump has added a massive amount of debt while the US economy has been strong, whereas Obama took over during the depths of the financial crisis.

    https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-national-debt-deficit-compared-to-obama-bush-clinton-2019-2

In addition, Obama inherited two hot wars from the Republican President, two of the longest in our history. Trump inherited a training and advisory mission in Afghanistan.

Paul Bedard writes for the Trump friendly Washington Examiner. Obviously, Bedard is quite prejudicial in favor of Trump.

Can you find any unbiased support for Trump?

Don't waste your time. There isn't any.

You have the most annoying habit of using quotes then going far beyond them to making up stories about others.

eg. 1. Norquist obviously loves the lower taxes provided by the all Republican Congress and is not concerned about the rising national debt under Trump.
    2. Paul Bedard writes for the Trump friendly Washington Examiner. Obviously, Bedard is quite prejudicial in favor of Trump.

Sandy, you have never disguised your enormous hatred of President Trump. If we could get past that, your tone would change a lot. You show your love of Obama and loyalty to him quite well.

I gave up on talking to you long ago. So I shall talk to the forum and not use even your name.

When the president submits a budget, it hits the floor of the House for them to perform a legal duty. The common saying is the president's budget hits the congress dead on arrival.

So hold the accusation that debt is always the presidents fault. I wager you do not blame Obama his vast run up in national debt.

Trump may indeed surpass the record Debt of Obama but at moment it is too premature to claim it.

What is so amusing is you excuse Obama's 9 trillion dollar debt but hammer Trump who only has 2 years as president.

Bush never gets the praise he deserves for his acts to stave off the recession. I have pointed out many times here that Bush and Obama had a meeting once Obama won the job and Obama wanted something strange. Obama wanted to be totally in charge of the Budget for 2009.

Bush granted the request, and so Obama got what other presidents do not get. A head start.

Bush saved Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Bush saved the auto industry. Bush in fact even saved the banking industry all in his final months as president.

General Franks defeated the Taliban / Al Qaeda groups quickly. Bush worked hard to set up a good government for Afghanistan.

Speaking of longest wars, how about that Korean war you seem against settling by Trump?

Franks virtually wiped Saddam's military off the map and then later, an internal war broke out in Iraq. It was not remotely the same war that Franks had won.

    Anyway for the forum readers.

Bush always got the blame. When he did magnificent things, he never got credit.

Your typical person bailing out is not leaving for fear issues. They believe they get that better deal in the USA. But Trump put a stop to that plan.

80 percent are found to have bogus claims for asylum. So very few would seek it from Guatemala don't you think?

Guatemala has to man up and help those you want to be helped.

Trump keeps owning the democrats. Got them to defend their own anti-American and anti-semite members and now got democrats to own their own failed cities.

You never questioned those statements because they are obviously true. Instead, as is your custom, you changed the subject.

I didn't say that. Is that issue something you are sensitive about?

That is a common excuse used by Trump's fans to disguise the fact that I accurately report what Trump says and does, and his fans are unable to challenge what I write.

Robert, you just proved it ... again.

Democrats defend Democrats much like Republicans defend Republicans.

Not all Democrats agree with one another much like not all Republicans agree with one another. An example of the latter:

The House passed a sweeping two-year budget deal Thursday that increases spending for military and domestic programs and suspends the debt ceiling through mid-2021, sending the White House-backed legislation to the Senate.

A large majority of Democrats voted for the legislation, while a majority of Republicans opposed it despite appeals from President Trump to support the bill.
