He hasn't divested from any of his businesses, unlike every president in modern history. The best he has done is hand over control to his sons . . . with whom he stays in close contact. He's a walking conflict of interest . . . well, to the extent that he can be said to "walk" rather than hobble.

Yep, Trump. Personally. At least according to his tax records.

Nope, not legally required. The claim, however, was that he divested. That's false.

Yet the claim was he divested. That's the claim I was responding to. This claim is false. Do you understand?

Is that what you’re referring to?

...In 2017, the company reported an unusually large spike in revenue — some $17.5 million, more than the previous five years’ combined. It was accompanied by a $15.1 million withdrawal by Mr. Trump from the company’s capital account...

This is what one does, taking money from one of his businesses when he needs some. Was there something illegal about? I do it all the time albeit not in such amounts. What’s the BFD?

And the BIG deal is? Don’t tell me, another thing Trump has not done? :confusion:

You asked if Trump took money out personally. The answer is yes. Why are you trying to change the subject now? No, it actually isn't all that common for someone to take out this much money as a personal withdrawal.

If you can't follow the conversation, don't pretend to be interested in doing so.

From your post it followed, Trump got paid by the Chinese. Trump's organization got paid by the Chinese and he took some money out of his organization.

    that's what business people do.

Now, you tell me - what's the BFD?

    Ah yes... TRUMP!!! :buggered:

It's unusual for the majority of a business transfer to be taken out as personal cash. No, that's not "what business people do." Even you thought this was unusual at first and expressed disbelief.

Nothing unusual about and no, my disbelief was to that the Chinese wired money into Trump's personal account. And I was right, they did not.

I expect that this story will be promptly censored by Twitter for being in breach of their privacy policy because it includes personal information which Trump hasn't consented to being released! :roflol:

Trump is different... he is funny and sometimes loud.. But he is a man of his word.
Future history will show he was ( i hope he will be re-elected ) a good presedent.

it was more of a rule of honor most presidents followed, Trump has no honor

but I guess your admitting you were wrong now that you're trying to say it's not a law that he had to do it
