I'm not a mental health professional but I seriously doubt he knows that he's lying. He lies so much that it doesn't even phase him.

I thought he was just a sore loser but it was the beginning of the end when he crashed those people's wedding reception. I was have been furious if my special day was ruined by his whining. He has no sense of decorum and clearly can't feel shame. There is a total disconnect.

Now, the hard part is getting his supporters to start seeing that.

Of course, the left poisoning symbols, history, and perceptions like the USA flag as a symbol doesn't help. What do we unify as if not as Americans?

 

They have to want to........or at least be open minded enough to consider the possibility that the man is mentally unstable. His perpetual lies do indicate his tenuous contact with reality. His behavior (eg the wedding thing) is clearly inappropriate.

The more I think about it......the more I realize just how inappropriate his conduct is in general.........as is his verbal behavior.

What is so concerning is that it seems as if his supporters have stopped thinking.......and have chosen to be blind followers .........as if they are in a trance / cult. The fact that they would do anything for him.......on the slightest suggestion from him.........makes for a potentially problematic situation.

The probme is that his behavior and verbiage has been normalized by many.......mainly his supporters.

 

Here's how I see it playing out. He raises as much money as he can for his PAC with the totally improbable results as this will have and it will be safe from his bankruptcy creditors. Not technically his money just his to spend pretty much as he wishes. He then rents a big yacht staffed by pretty and dumb girls but not his soon to be ex wife Melania. When criminal charges are filed he moves the yacht out of US territorial waters and avoids countries with extradition treaties with the US until he dies. Probably have a McDonalds instead of a kitchen.

 

Because most republicans feel like the democrats cheated. Not because Trump told them to but because of the situations surrounding the election.

 

I’m gonna enjoy watching the commies turn on the other white liberals once they’ve served their useful idiot function.

No it’s because the democrats instituted a massive mail in voting program and in many places removed any ability to be able to authenticate the mail in vote and then refused to allow us to authenticate. Along with a host of other issues.

 

The ability to be able to authenticate the mail in vote has never been removed. Places that removed signature verification replaced it with personal information requirements

 

I believe there is a difference between Trump cultists and Trump supporters. The latter are reasonable and even cordial while the former are blind, hateful, angry minions with no internal barometer to give them pause. Their very existence is a threat to the foundation of what America stands for. I strongly believe to dismiss them as harmless is a mistake because collectively events like Jan. 6th can happen again.

I don't know what it will take to break the spell if hundreds of thousand dead, death and serious injuries during Jan. 6th, arrest and prosecution, his own sister's and niece's warnings barely moved the needle.

Plus, they didn't INSTITUTE a massive mail in program... The D's advertised mail in as an alternative to showing up and standing in lines during a pandemic. They (They being both red and blue states) expanded early voting for the same reason.

There was very little done for the election that wasn't already in place, just different emphasis on different voting techniques....

In the R mind, Election Fraud = A lot more legal voters voting. If that were the norm every election cycle, R's would realize a 7+ million vote defeat nationally might actually be one of the closer results...

 

It has never been about fraud. There are a dozen or more states that Trump won that did the same things as those he lost. But none of these people every called them into question. That right there is proof positive it was never about fraud and only about getting Trump back in the White House.

 

What is a bit distributing is that they are now openly and proudly calling for an actual coup by the military.

Notice how once Flynn said it publicly it is now openly talked about on his forum.

They got their marching orders and they are following them.

 

I don't think many people are scared that he will win. The fear is what he will incite his followers to do when he loses again.

HOW does anyone outside a poll worker opening envelopes know who those ballots were cast for? Tracing this statement only leads to one source - Trump said it aloud. I've looked and looked and there is nothing except his tantrums on Twitter.

It's hard to convince people they've been following a lie.

They can't. Riddle me this...if this was happening on a large enough scale to tip the needle, wouldn't just about everybody have seen people rifling through trash cans all day, every day?

P.S. I think if someone wrote this down and pitched it as a movie, it would be rejected as beyond ridiculous even for the fantasy category. It's too sad to be a comedy but it might work in the horror genre.
