I have no idea who General Kelly met. However, I am betting that the did not investigate the personal history of each and every one to determine their character. So, just give it up and call it a lie like it is.

Dirty Donald has no ethics, no morality doesn't and never has practiced any religion, the only time he EVER ENTERS A CHURCH is for a photo op. The only thing in this world he worships is himself, he is a person with absolutely no redeeming qualities. Everything he does in life is something he thinks will benefit and enrich himself.

Yep - he offered something very different. He doesn't read his PDBs and doesn't exercise diplomacy when working with other countries. I suppose that's just fine with some, but I think many of us feel that his behavior is beneath the office and has made us an isolated island on this planet.

I fully agree, but calling him "flawed" is way too soft to describe such a despicable individual and a crook!

Frankly, there is no way you could possibly know all of that. If Trump said something like that about someone else, it would be considered a lie and hate speech.

No need to research the matter. He's been proudly displaying his personnality for the last 4 years (and many more)!

Lets take a for instance. He would have to know each and every time Trump entered a church and know what he was thinking at the time. An obvious impossibility.

Dirt7 Donald has a very long and well documented history which is fully available online all you need to do is research it and read it to learn how truly despicable he is both today and throughout his history.

Does it have a list of all the times he entered a church and what he was thinking at the time?

It's a sincere statement, not one a four star general would normally make regarding his former commander-in-chief. That he, and many other generals and admirals, such as...

Army Gen. Raymond A. "Tony" Thomas
    Air Force Gen. Mike Hayden
    Navy Adm. James Stavridis
    Navy Adm. William McRaven
    Army Gen. Martin Dempsey
    Air Force Gen. Richard Myers
    Navy Adm. Mike Mullen
    Marine Corps Gen. John Allen
    Marine Corps. Gen. John Kelly
    Marine Corps Gen. James Mattis

are criticizing their commander in chief, and that they are is a historic precedent.

Why can't you accept it? Every time someone criticizes the president, most on the right assume there is something
wrong with the person doing the criticizing.

It is really seem like y'all are hypnotized by the president, because that's what hypnosis does to a person.

What does it say about the character of General Kelly that he would speak ill of his former boss? As a military officer and still in the ready reserve, it is against regulations to publicly speak poorly about your commanding officer. Donald Trump is still President and still his commander as Commander in Chief.

What kind of man does that make General Kelly? President Trump fired him and it looks like he had good reason. From what I heard, Kelly was running around ordering people around like HE WAS President.

Kelly is still mad that he got fired. It says something about Trump's good judgment.

Trump hired Kelly ... and Omorosa ... and The Mooch .... and the dozen other ex-White House staff members who have come out with
disparaging remarks about Trump. So what does THAT say about Trump's good judgement?

Really, if it were one or two ex-staff members who were complaining about Trump, it wouldn't be a big deal. But with the highest turnover rate of staff
in Presidential history, that's an awful lot of smoke for there to be no fire. Either Trump is a poor judge of character in the hiring process, or Trump is turning
    good people into bad.

All debt accrued by Republican Presidents is the fault of Democrats and all debt accrued by Democrat Presidents is....the fault of Democrats. GOP logic.

If you want to know how America got to a point where most GOP supporters treat every Trump lie as a fact and deny even the most undeniable actual facts, start with 'logic' like this. The lies GOP supporters have told themselves about the economy for years are a sort of 'gateway drug' to believing that Trump had the biggest win in history or thre were millions of illegal ballots or COVID is faked.....or QAnon.

It starts with smaller lies and just grows. They taught themselves to do this when Reagan blew out the debt by record amounts and somehow convinced everyone he was 'fiscally responsible'. Once you start drinking that kool aid someone like Trump becomes a possibility.

The swamp got them. All those people were screw ups. We know what the Mooch and Amoroso did to get fired. All of them have bad character. People who have know Trump for a long time speak highly of him.

You're right. Democrats aren't. Leftists are. And unfortunately for the Democrats, leftists are getting into power under the Democrat name.

That might be YOUR opinion. No clue what it has to do with the post that you were responding to is though.

Like it or not he's President. He gave the order to make it happen and guess what...it happened. He gets the credit whether you like it or not.

This is a quibble point. Obama may not have given it to them directly...but he sure as hell didn't continue to keep it from them either.

Depends on what you mean by "prospered" doesn't it? If you're talking about federal funds then yeah, Democrats have done better to a degree. Thanks to raising taxes. But if you're talking about normal citizens wealth? The crag between the rich and the poor has been widening no matter what party you are talking about. Trump was trying to reverse that trend and was doing a pretty good job of it until covid hit and so many businesses shut down. And he's been the only President that has attempted to do it for the last couple of decades at least.

Oh I'm sure Democrats won't mind if you have a single shot long barrel .223. But anything else? Yeah...they're trying very hard to ban anything that they consider an "assault weapon". A term so vague as to encompass anything that they want. Biden's own website doesn't define it and uses the term in conjunction with the word "ban". And btw, Feinstein IS in office and guess what...she is on record as wanting "Mr. and Mrs. America turn them all in!".

Funny how they didn't complain about the riots that happened under Obama. BTW, Trump has tried to stop the riots. And in every single State that they have occurred and the governors and mayors accepted his help...the riots stopped. The only riots still going on are those that are in states where the governors and mayors have refused help. All of them Democrat ran. But thank you for another example of the two faced argument on this. You blame Trump for the riots and yet when Trump simply added some troops to defend a court house (not even attempting to stop the riots as the mayor didn't want them to interfere) your side condemned it and called it tyrannical and fascist.

Seriously? You're using a newsletter site that is part of the Institute for Policy Studies? A progressive think tank? Yeah...I'm sure that they have NO MOTIVE WHAT SO EVER to spread false and/or misleading information. None what so ever....... (that last bit is sarcasm in case you couldn't tell) I haven't even seen such drivel from CNN and they'll print anything negative about Trump. Including lies.

So you seem to be saying that Trump hires people of bad character - lots of them. Yet you dismiss the possibility he is a bad judge of character in the hiring process.

And as for your illusion that people who have known Trump for a long time respect him? Bless your heart.
Those of us around Palm Beach who have known and dealt with Trump for decades know exactly what kind of character Trump has.
He is a Poster Boy for the 7 Deadly Sins.

No he wasn't. If your premise is debatable, which it is, that proves it's not obvious.

But, feel free to back your claim up.

Do you really think that Kelly has thoroughly investigated everyone he has met? He would have to do that before he could conclude that Trump was the most "flawed" person he had ever met. That is not even possible. It is an obvious lie. Whenever Trump says something like that, they call it a lie and add it to the other thousands.
