So I would expect you to not like Trump, because he at least is as guilty of what you say about Biden. That's his real name, I have never found name-calliing to be particularly helpful, no matter who says it about whomever, or maybe you're just repeating something you heard and don't actually know the President of the United States real name.

 

Okay - so Biden is a hypocrite in your view. But as per this OP, what has he done to attack freedom of religion in this country? Afterall, the message was clear:
“We accomplished so much together at the White House during the Trump administration. We are seeing all our hard work being unraveled by the new administration and their anti-faith agenda,” the email said. “We will protect our religious freedoms here and abroad, in order to worship and live according to our faith.”

What hard work was unraveled by Biden? What policies are represented as 'anti-faith'?

Well said. Name-calling is also not a very Christian activity, because it degrades the person they are calling names. Not something Jesus would approve of. I think, however, there is a slim chance that the poster you are replying to will be able to show some introspection.

Yes, it does, to a degree. The word "fascists" does have a specific meaning that is being conveyed, but accuracy should be considered. Name calling seems immature to me, and most likely diffuses the point the speaker is trying to make by possibly causing an emotional response, not one of thoughtful reflection. If someone is putting their thoughts on a message board, don't they want people to actually contemplate them? Maybe I'm in error with this.
And I'm with you on the sarcasm. I tend to be a little sarcastic, and find sarcastic humor enjoyable. I do see where too much of it is not good.

Are you aware that just because you, as a politician, believe in something does not mean that the people you represent lose their rights. The president doesn't get to rewrite all the laws he doesn't personally like.

I'm not being argumentative, but my perception is that it's about 50/50, with some ups and downs. Considering that Trump's approval rating was always under
50% and he wasn't exactly endearing to the moderate voters, it stands to reason that more people would be anit-Trump than for Trump. The passion is high for the Trump supporters and their "opponents". Makes for some lively debates!
I wouldn't use the term thinly veiled though. Most are just obvious! lol
