Note also, because it's of a piece with your hysteria about having to drag him out of the white house, that none of the expected attacks on state houses around the country or at the capitol, materialized. Not one. The national guard at the capitol explains the lack of disturbances there (which is odd, since the national guard is filled with racist white males who don't want to protect Biden, amirite?), but it doesn't explain the lack of significant protest anywhere else.

In the first place, he did not attempt a violent overthrow. If that were the plan, he would neve have sought legal redress in court.

But regardless, what ultimately happened was the same thing that would have happened had there been no forced entry into the capitol. He left voluntarily and on the last day, despite Pelosi's threat to impeach if he didn't resign.

Impeachment will end up not being a big deal for trump nor his sheep. As I've already posted elsewhere, if the repubs are upset with the impeachment they're really going to be upset when trump is in Federal court facing criminal charges for the Jan 6 coup attempt. Agents of the F.B.I. are making arrests every day and they're sure as hell not going to overlook the instigators behind the coup attempt.
