I thought Reagan made a deal for amnesty in return for a secure border but I guess that didn't happen for some reason. His mistake was trusting democrats.

They didn't have numbers but they knew illegals were here, and that is why the decision was made to not enforce the laws. If employers knew they would be visited by regulators and fined for hiring undocumented immigrants, the illegals would have jobs and they would not be able to afford to stay here.

Who said that? No, it makes BIPARTISAN GOVERNMENT responsible and makes considerations and adjustments for those particular illegal immigrants justified. Part of the problem you seem to be having is that no government makes immigrants responsible for compliance. They are basically saying that if we don't prosecute trump in this then they get a pass for all their aiding and abetting of illegal immigrants and hiring illegal immigrants. Imagine all the democrats in San Francisco who have illegal immigrant housekeepers and gardeners to dodge taxes passed on Americans who would be affected by a crackdown.

I would love to see the National Guard called up to go in to sanctuary cities and arrest people involved in government and have massive deportations.

Huge problem when I owned my manufacturing business. Some current employee has a cousin or a friend, or whatever, and helps them get a job by vouching for them. Then they help get fraudulent documents. Everybody is vouching for the new hire, management assumes all the checks have been made, and most times they have.

Only when Social Security, or some other agency sends a notice that a number or other data doesn't match does management learn of a problem.

That's why draconian penalties should be drafted and applied to employers and others who KNOWINGLY hire illegal aliens.

It's absurd to assume the President would know if some single employee was an illegal working under fraudulent documents.

You guys need to apply some objectivity to your Trump outrage otherwise the hope of regaining some level of credibility will remain elusive.

The National Guard is a STATE entity governed by the California government, and it has ZERO authority to arrest and deport people who live in the state.

It is the FEDERAL government who is charged with arrested and deporting illegals.

NO "sanctuary city" prevents the feds from doing "massive deportation" anywhere!

Yes and immigration issues are handled by our immigration services and yes local lawful enforcement has a role in illegal aliens in their myst. When there is a raid on an employers business INS and ICE handle the raid and charge the company/employer.

 

I don't know that he personally hired the managers involved here. And I highly suspect that the golf course was having phony documents made to give to these people and await something official from law enforcement.
