Trump needs to get a plan out there today! Voters are waiting and they recognize that the Republicans have no real plan. Yesterdays debate shows that Trump doesn't either.

It's time. Every American needs an HSA account either provided through government or a registered private party. Finally we need vouchers to either put towards Healthcare or to pay for private insurance. I DO NOT WANT INSURANCE THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT! Nor should you. Keep the government out of your healthcare choices and tell Trump you want a voucher and HSA account.

He says he has one and it's beautiful, cheaper, with better coverage for everyone. Why not believe him? He's never given us any reason to doubt what he says in the past (wink).

Well he slipped last night, saying that he will create one when he's re elected. Meaning, as we already knew, that he doesn't have one. He's had a hard on to get rid of Obamacare since he took office, yet he hasn't spent any time or resources on creating a replacement. Hard to take anything he has to say on the ACA seriously if he doesn't, obviously, care about the issue.

What Trump needs is a clue!
And don’t knock government healthcare until you tried it!

He keeps saying "his plan" will be cheap than Obamacare. Does he not understand that ACA isn't an insurance plan?
The only people who can truly make health insurance cheaper is we the people. Any by that I mean stop living like a bunch of glutinous pigs. And I'm talking collectively because I'm not part of the glutinous pig problem. Obesity-related medical care costs in the US are estimated at hundred of billions. But sadly Americans will never change their ways in regards to their own health. We're just going to continue to get fatter and more disgusting as a society.

Really? Does this ring a bell?

-if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor
-if you like your healthcare plan, you'll be able to keep your healthcare plan

Lest we forget that Affordable Care Act is not affordable, the premiums had double digit increases every single year...and they Care kicked in after $8,000 - $10,000 of deductible a family needed to come up with.

Both parties failed on Healthcare....but the Dems failed on all else as well, while Trump keeps delivering on his campaign promises (or at the very least fighting for them non-stop)

I don’t know if CBS will aire it, but there is footage of Leslie Stahl tying to lift a binder containing his healthcare plan.

This is probably why the interview went awry. The administration likely didn’t expect her to open the binder. They presented her with an enormous binder literally filled with blank pages. Not exactly a way to start an interview.

That's because kids like junk food. Kids who have obese parents and aren't taught healthy eating habits are likely to eat like crap just like their parents. Kids learn from adults. Parents are to blame for their kids being obese.

That's all great except when these kids parents are obese and eat like crap that's ultimately what the kids end up doing. No amount of "healthy" school lunches is going to change that.

I think there should be a public option where people can choose between government insurance and private insurance. Your username is "Gray Man" so I'm assuming you are older. You are in a world of pain when you hit Medicare age. Medicare is government insurance.

Won't change a thing. You don't think people know they are obese? If being 300lbs isn't motivation enough to want to get in shape then no amount of obituaries stating obesity as cause of death will.

I find it interesting that some people say they don't want the government in their healthcare, but want the government to advise the public what the healthcare choices are.

I find it interesting that some people talk about what healthcare plans the government will come up with, when they themselves know what their needs are, and can find out that information with a couple of googles and a phone call.

Or is it that people are waiting to find out how much 'subsidy' they are eligible for, so that other taxpayers can pony up for their premiums?

Unless a person is low or no income, they should be able to explore insurance options (or not) on their own.

I'm 100% in support of HSAs, Catastrophic and high deductible plans (for those who can support the deductible), and health co-operatives.
