A President that lies continuously degrades respect for the office and the behavior of the reporters reflects both the respect of the press and the respect of the American people.

That said nobody is compelling Trump to call on Acosta. Interesting to contemplate why he does it if Acosta is so offensive to our poor little snowflake, draft dodging, commander in chief.

 

Acosta attacked, insulted, disrespected, and debated. It's been going on for some time. How many other correspondents are there at these press conferences? Do they constantly make headlines for themselves? Are they so narcissistic like Acosta they have to piss in the faces of their fellow journalists and dominate the briefings?

Another fact is that a legitimate news organization would realize there is a personality problem with their White House correspondent, and reassign Acosta to some other gig. That way they could actually report news, rather than fabricate it.

Jimmy would probably be good reporting on initiation rights of MS 13 members, or perhaps the inner workings of child sex traffickers who bring children across the border. I mean, given his attacks on border sercurity, it's clear he doesn't care. Perhaps he's a customer?

 

As you know, ibobbrob, Acosta is a mentally challenged amateur, he's not a journalist. These press conferences are designed for real journalists to ask questions. That's why Acosta has such trouble with them.

There has always been a level of decorum that was respected without written rules but it seems that era is over and reporters nowadays need to be treated like the angry out of control children they are.

 

What do you expect when you have an, "unruly," character occupying the Presidency who daily berates, threatens, and falsely accuses the free press? Sh*it flows downhill. If you don't like it, then clean it up at the top!

 

The overriding rule for doctors is first do no harm. For journalist it's don't make yourself the story. Acosta has violated that rule over and over again.

 

Beyond that, what legitimate news organization would keep a person in place like Jimmy, who obviously is completely ineffective and controversial?

It will be interesting to see if Acosta purposely breaks the new rules to once again make the story about him. CNN could be plotting this right now with the intent of getting to the supreme Court in a case that contest the president's right to set rules for the press. Great publicity stunt for Acosta and CNN.

Anybody, whether they be a mentally challenged amateur, not a journalist, the man in the moon, who asks tough questions of Trump
will be denigrated in some manner, shape, or form. the problem is that Trump lies and lies and lies and the press knows it. They must lob
